Fascism allowed controlled Capitalism (although the state most), hated the Communists and their open mind (when it came to foreigners and race), extremely nationalistic and extremely violent. To compare the American Liberals with Fascism is just cheap propaganda and pseudo history.
The fools that don't know History think that Fascism goes either at the left or at the right. When in reality back then the political spectrum was more like a triangle than anything.
