  • So how much did it weigh??

  • ^^ 5 people are jealous of the size of this tractor

  • 2 me its to big for the power plant case got tractors pulling almost that much power caterpillar got tractors that have that much power its just the biggest AS far AS size and versatile got one thats the biggest in the world AS far AS size but like they said their isnt anything farm related that it can hook 2 it that would challenge it

  • Do they haul a crane around too so they can unload it when they get wherever they're going?

  • did they keep that baby running the whole way? lol

  • @KenworthPeterbilt thats the sound of the truck :D

  • ohh good

  • nice shots..I wondered about the moving set up from fla.ranch to back home..

  • Drop her of at the scrap yard....it's a pile of shit built by shitheads.

  • @905zoli thats about right the company when bankrupt

  • they have tractors over 900hp how is it the biggest?

  • @brian93ist its still the biggest just with a little HP for its size

  • @brian93ist its the biggest cause thats pushin a 1000

  • @taftboy847 there are other tractor with 1000hp

  • @brian93ist the 16v92 detroit in the big bud 747 is 1400hp

  • @rn571975 could it be 900 at hte wheels perhaps? its alot of mass to move. id love to see it in person one day, to hear it start.

  • @rn571975 I think it was close to 900, but there are alot of 16v92's depending on the app that put out 1400 or more.

  • @lolzgamer Have you ever tried to slash a tire? Not easy... and just the sidewall on them is probibly about 6 inch thick...

  • @sybow it cost around 300 grand when it was built.

  • How freaking much did that thing cost?o.o

  • That would suck if someone slashed their tires for the tractor lol

  • if u get one of these stuck what will u bring to pull it out? :D

  • great video

  • Big Bud will be in Independence,Iowa until the end of July

  • Screw the tractor trailer, they ought to mount the thing on top of a Boeing 747 and fly the thing around like the space shuttle

  • Ok...this is the fourth video I've seen of this tractor and I've still to see the dam thing move.

Now I see that you need to put it on a lorry to get it around.

    Wtf?

  • No such thing as a lorry in the states...limey!

  • @cobraman96 - Silly man. Your preferred choice of synonym has no bearing on the way I choose to speak.

    Also, I'm not English :P

  • Ok,its a tractor trailer...not a freaking "lorry"

  • @cobraman96 - Alright you got me. I apologise, what I said was technically innacurate.

The correct term is "Articulated Lorry". But I'm not going to be silly enough to imply that you should use the synonyms we

do. If you're interested, we do use the term Tractor to define it from the Trailer, in the appropriate context.

I believe that referring to a Lorry as a Tractor in a conversation that was originally about farm equipment would lead to confusion though, unless you call them diferently too?

  • @duthies

your all wrong... its a BIG BUD!

but really does it really matter what it is?

its big, its loud, it uses alot of fuel and if you get in its way, your going to be flat.

  • @Willnson Lol! Course it doesn't matter :) But I do have to say, if these videos are anything to go by, I think I'll die of old age before a BIG BUD hits me if I see one coming :P

  • @cobraman96 its only a lorry in england in the USA its a TRUCK

  • @MattytheDem I think that a Truck in america is what us brit's would refer to as a Pickup truck. I think they call Lorry's "Semi's".

  • @cobraman96 Its a Truck...Both wrong..lol

  • @Makemyday0126 No a truck would be a straight truck or a pickup TRUCK! Its called tractor and a trailer,Aka tractor trailer.

  • Move the damned thing!!

  • Givin' the scale boys and the truckers who pulled in behind ya a tour, eh???

  • i have seen like 3 videos of this thing and it doesn't even move it just sits there what a waste metal

  • dose it move? i have not seen one video of this thing actually moveing

  • @nighthawkm1992 that thing moves out man, there is a video of it pulling 95000 lbs in the related videos. "BIG BUD, STEIGER TIGER, AND JOHN DEERE PLOWING FIELDS"

  • me too, all say it's the biggeste, but i never saw a video of it pulling anything!!!!

  • theres two of them on here pulling a 15 bottom plow

  • @nighthawkm1992 like 2 false tires i think

  • Glenn, why would you use a damn front end loader to pull an effin cultivator?!?!? 2300 HP is a little overkill for even the biggest cultivator out there. plus you would have about 5 going at the same time for >60k acres.

  • how many cubes??

  • the "ohhh gooddd"at 0:15 sounded so wrong lol

  • hahhaha oh u funny fucker

  • lol pervert

  • They actually made a little over 500 Big Buds from 1969-1991. The total exact number is a bit fuzzy, because of differing opinions. The 525/50 model was the most prolific.

  • They one made one this size but the they made about 70 smaller ones.

  • wow......takes 2 trucks to haul it, then you gotta haul a crane to get it unloaded.

  • The Big Bud 16V-747 is large but appears as a dwarf compared to the LeTourneau L-2350 loader, the largest tractor-based front-end loader in the world. Even the Big Bud 16V-747 appears inadequate to handle the demands of the world's largest farms, which can exceed 60,000 acres. I believe ag tractors built on the scale of the LeTourneau L-2350 loader with its 2300-HP engine and matching implements are necessary to handle the demands of those >60K-acre farms.

  • wow...900 horse power

  • at he scales? so how much does it weigh? I hear 95 to 130 thousand.

  • Not even the truck carrying the big bug was shown moving. BOO!!

  • how many hp i will buy it for 550,000

  • It said 900 HP on the side of it...

  • 50 tons

  • How much does this tractor weigh?

  • thats where im going to see it at i cant wait my friends dad had a smaller big bud but not any more

  • are big bud tractors still made today?

  • Unfortunately not. If someone could give greenarcticcat400 some information about what is going on with Big Bud today that would be great.

  • This was a custom made tractor, Only one made. It will be in Rantoul IL in August for a History of Agriculture display

  • ur right bodblsizzle i guess there is only one made i watched the vid from saycheese10times and he said only one in exsistance the owner that restored it used it on a farm in montana worked 800acres a day with it it used 1gal fuel per acre for 900hp

  • @greenarcticcat400 Big Bud tractors are still found all over Montana and the mid-west. The company no longer exists, but there is a shop here in Havre, MT called Big Equipment that scavenges the old worn out Big Buds for use to keep the ones in the fields still operating. The Williams brothers own Big Equipment and they use 16V-747 as their show piece. This tractor is also the poster child for biofuels and Diesel Technologies at MSU-Northern.

  • @greenarcticcat400 tractordata . com look for big bud tractors

  • wow what a huge tractore..there is soo much history in that tractor

  • Thanks for the video! Amazing to see how BB is hauled!
