  • Would someone please release this on CD? Or rerelease it... or upload it onto Amazon or Itunes!!

  • @DeepSouthWrestling1

The album is up on SPOTIFY -- free streaming toyour computer...only $9/mo. for streaming to mobile device (iPhone, etc.). Great band, the stuff holds up...

  • I watched them a few times here in South Florida.

  • Video gives me chills, it's so 1983. I love where they pop up into their chairs at the end. Too bad this only got light rotation on MTV.

  • Used to make this band's concerts everytime they played The President in New Orleans...good times

  • @tigerfreak

We saw this band so many times in New Orleans we lost count! We also saw them in other areas around Southeast Louisiana. They were great, and are a great bunch of guys. Easy to talk with and to get along with. We now live in Kansas City. (contact: english2311@att.net or riknmik@live.com )

  • Saw these guys many times back in the day. I've been listening in the car again. Great songs, great singing. It would make my day if they would put out a new LP.

  • Such an underrated/underappreciated band! I'm still surprised that they weren't bigger. Great vocals, tight musicianship, and catchy hooks. True, their sound was undeniably "80s," but it still holds up and is FAR superior than most of the crap on MTV and Top 40 radio today

  • Well, Yetroym, they "sort of made it." They really SHOULD have been incredibly huge. If ANYBODY in this world deserved to get rich, those guys did. But they didn't...get rich, that is. They were totally screwed by one record company exec who trashed them through at least two different companies. They still gig some, and they are truly a nice bunch of fellows.

  • @AlabubbaTrucker

from the English Brothers KCMO --

Who was the record company exec who trashed them? (Try us at either english2311@att.net or riknmik@live.com to continue this discussion...)

  • great 80's band .....great songs !!!!!!

  • Played the plastic off this album in the 80's! Worked at a record store and picked up 3 copies. Wore them all out and bought the CD. Played in a local band and we did 3 cuts off the debut, including this one. Pop rock writing just doesn't get any better!

  • Gotta love the keytar!! The 80s were the best! I force my kids to listen to the 80s channel on XM radio. They know all the songs now!!!

  • the out of release album celoecanth has some of their best songs...friendly fire...slow dancing...and kansas did an incredible cover of their song cant cry anymore....great band, this song, certain kind of girl...the perfect pop song...of all time..

  • a couple years ago I worked at an ad agency with their bass player Kyle Henderson and I played drums while he sang at our company Christmas party. Awesome dude, still has a great voice.

  • These guys were (are?) so incredible. Their self-titled album contains some of the best songwriting ever. Wish they'd have hit it even better.

Thank you for being the soundtrack to my high school years, Producers.

  • AWESOME VIDEO!! I saw them on New Years Eve 1982 opening up fpr Flock of Seaguls - what a show!

  • Hey mikedev, They made it. They had three hits didn't they?!

  • I guess I meant - too bad they didn't make it in a bigger way. They did have some hits. :^)

  • Add another person who played the shit out of this album....ME!

  • My favorite song by one of my favorite groups of that era...and saw them live many a time...

  • nic lowe, greg khin, and the producers. i miss bands like this.

  • I was a deejay in the midwest and played the crap out of these guys,The Romantics, and Trooper. Brownie

  • Oh WOW! What great memories this brings back! I saw them at least a dozen times in Tallahassee, Valdosta, and Atlanta back in the day. Never quite understood why they never made it big. Thought they were awesome. was at the Musical Moon in Tally when the MTV video (not of this song) was made...nearly had cracked ribs from the crowd pusing us into the stage! Great time!

  • Thanks for the comments. Glad to see more of their videos on the tube. I used to listen to this album over and over - hugely under rated!

  • I completely wore this album out when I was a kid. So glad I found this.

  • Ahh, 1982, high school, not a care in the world, those were the days. This was a really under rated group from those days who should've enjoyed greater success than they did, none the less this was a nice song from them.

  • These guys wrote some of the catchiest pop songs ever. They deserved to be HUGE.

I caught them in 1982 at the University of Florida's Halloween Ball. I hear they still tour. It'd be great to see them today!

  • Can anybody get "What's he Got" back up? That song is a top ten fave of mine
