Awesome! You have done the best job in explaining how to build a teleprompter out of all the videos I have seen, and the most professional one as well. I Like how sturdy and clean your setup is using a flat-screen monitor rather than using cardboard boxes and clamping your laptop in some non-natural and potentially detrimental position. Looks like a little more work, but a much more durable and user-friendly after you build it. Thanks for sharing!

Thats still pretty clear for being a half mirror

The only issue with using mirror is that you decrease the amount of light getting to your camera which degrades image quality. Good cameras and good lighting can compensate quite a bit for this. Glass is a much better option if you have a poor-mid range camera. You trade some reflectivity, which you can compensate for with a shroud, for better image quality. Peace. -Max
