I never heard of Jason Mraz until a couple of weeks ago. Cute guy with inviting smile and great vocal sense singing a cheery, happy, feel-good song... I can see why this has been so popular. It makes you feel good inside, and I'm glad to have heard it.  I especially like his live videos where you can just see his musical talent and soul come through without a lot of studio work. :)

I think it depends on what sound you want. They're good for the "New" sounding guitars, but they aren't the only good guitars, Martins are amazing but they have a completely different sound.

Yeah, they are popular and they have a great tone and are extremely easy to play with their neck and all, but the tone is all it's own so it's really based on personal choice.
