  • Hey what bumper is that on your e46 it's very slick

  • @realmanchester it's the stock sport package bumper. I really like it too.

  • Bad light module?

  • My Dad just had a ticket for that today (the cop said it was aggressive driving, he thought was Dad was flashing his lights at the truck aherad of him).

He's had the flickering for a while and hopefully the information you provided will help. Thanks.

  • THATS NO PROBLEM...I THINK ITS A SORT OF STROBE LIGHT! I HAVE SEEN IN IN NEW M3S

  • What software do you use to edit your videos?

  • @BiteDoctor Adobe Premiere. I like it, but my computer isn't quite powerful enough to let me get the full benefit out of it.

  • @BiteDoctor Did you fix your problem? I have the same issue, I have changed all the tail light bulbs and front sides. Same problem.... Please help.

  • @netoelneto The issue did get fixed. It turned out to be a bad ground in the wiring connector for the right rear tail light. Evidently the E46 wiring in the tail light is prone to melting, which results in a bad ground and the flickering of the HIDs. If you search on Google for E46 tail light ground you should find great instructions on fixing it.

  • @netoelneto actually, if you go to the link I show in the video there's information on how to fix it. That's where I found the solution for my issue.

  • mehhee you could blind someone with thsee at night O_O ONNN OFF ONNN OFFFF

  • I have passenger side headlight doing this. I just got the car. The tail light is causing my problem??? This sounds weird to me. It isnt the bulb?

  • @Incagnit0 if it's only one side having a problem, it's more than likely a problem with the ballast on that side.

  • mine did the same thing, since all the lights are ran through the lcm, one bad connection effects the whole circuit.... there was corrosion in my tail light holder. clean it up, and put bulb grease on the bulbs..

  • same thing is happening on my mercedes, I was told it was the generator for the HID power source and not the bulb itself since they last the life of the car.

  • @suburqureshi it actually turned out to be a faulty ground in the tail light connector. I'm not sure about how Mercedes Benz wiring is done, but if your symptoms are the same as mine you may want to check into that kind of thing.

  • @ChristiaanConover Yea I went over to Mercedes and they said that the Bulb on the car was done which makes me wonder since my 03 BMW 745 is older and only the angel lights had to be replaced. But I guess Mercedes uses different stuff. Also how has the cars service track been, have you noticed any big issues with your car?
