  • Dave the two online guys that used to carry these tires don't anymore. Know of a source for the Nankang N800's? I'm coverting my Avid over to KF IV gear with disc brakes and want to run minimum 21's for now until I build some 9" wheels.

  • That much fun should be illegal. Probably will be, if a certain political party gets its way.

  • It has a huge fun factor YES

  • the more i watch this the more i like it, what engine you have in this plane? this video has me thinking about starting a kitfox with big wheels.

  • Rotax 582

  • another thing to consider is the speeds a lot of these stunts are being done at are low enough the pilot would likely walk away with broken bones at worst if he wrecked.

  • Hey Kitfox pilot, you made me want one of those pretty bad!!Be careful though!

  • yee haa

  • What engine are you using????

  • Abuse ? oh palleeeeeez

    Fun FUN fun

  • abuse of a perfectly good airplane!!! The only time I would do that is in an emergency landing!

  • hahah stick to the pavement and miss 99% of the Fun factor

  • you have never been to alaska have you hunt4fish! all they do is "abuse" those poor airplanes they must be idiots huh! thats funny!!

  • Sorry, never been there! I do however have a pilot/instructor rating and do most of my flying on floats on Northeast Canadian coast. Planes here get normal everyday abuse from the elements all the time, we don't have to "make it happen".

  • abuse and USE are two different terms. My dad was a bushpilot in northern B.C. for 40 years. He used his planes not abused them. Fun factor is a hole different word...get a four wheeler to play in the MUD!

  • it's a bush plane you nut!! it's meant for this. this is aviation where it's really at.

  • Yes hunt4fish, I agree. Mud & water in bearings & air intakes rocks in fabric etc etc. One thing when it happens, but going looking for it. Wait till murphy shows up!!

  • Looks like you guys are having lots of fun slinging mud... who needs 4wd? Great videos! Keep them coming!

  • a/P ?

  • Sorry, aerodrome. We all can't have a strip in the back yard. That's called Heaven.

  • when you got skis, big wheels or floats who needsa aerodrome?

  • Testing the utility of a bush plane benefits everyone and boosts skill. Driving to the A/P ?? - now that's dangerous.

  • LOL

  • You guys remind me of the sea-doos on the Lake Of The Woods. Accident waiting to happen! Good luck

  • Great video --- can you give us some tech info specific about that Kitfox like model, engine, prop. Did the water eat the prop?

  • zero damage ,

get more damage on floats from water spray for some reason.

  • good idea

    what's size of tires?

  • 21 "

  • Great back yard toy! Beats an ATV any day!

  • Aircraft with four wheel drive should have wiper blades. What happens when it gets stuck in the mud?
