i dont think so. Maybe a lot of people say or think that because of many crashes and the cold war. But today the new russian planes like the IL96 or Tu-334 are safer than all what the russians made before. I live in Germany and for me nothing is higher than SAFE, but on these planes i really felt AND see a safe plane
u really shouldnt. those planes get bad maintenance. due to that fact,many of them have crashed. i lived in russia and i heard of one crashing once every few months.

I was not seated where I was supposed to be so, I don't know the number but it's at the rear. Maybe 6 or 7 seats before the last one.
