Floyd is very good at ducking punches, but he wastes opportunities to fight back as he is too concerned with defense. He occasionally punches, but he takes too many punches in doing so.

He should fight straight-forwardly. He could do a better job. Against Marquez, I doubt it, though.

The people narrating only see what he does. They don't see what Marquez is doing.

@drinkmyjames mosley and barerra did the same as what marquez did..keep turning him to avoid the left hand of pacquiao. it takes a lot of risk by chasing someone like marquez but still pacquiao took that risk that is why the judges favored him over marquez. mayweather won a close decision against de la hoya pacquiao is way better than de la hoya..so we can never tell what's gonna happen if this fight happens.

@drinkmyjames dude you miss the point here..mayweather style matches de la hoya's style of fighting..that is why it is a close fight and so was the pacquiao and marquez fight. i think pacquiao and de lo hoya's style is almost similar the coming forward only pacquiao has a better defence because of his excellent foot work. it is not about de la hoya's prime because it is only what one or two years ago since he fought mayweather.

Ariza has said Pac is willing to sign to fight Floyd, but he said it is Bob Arum who is not letting the fight happen.

A recent report showed that Pac has still not been paid all the money he is owed for the Cotto fight. An independent investigator exposed irregularities in Arum's accounting.

There is unrest as pac wants floyd but arum does not. Arum said last week the fight will not happen.

Marley said Margarito had had been promised the fight as early as February 2010, a fact that is proven by the fact that Maragrito announced in February 2010 he would be fighting Pac in November 2010.

HBO director greenburg said he forwarded the demands to Ellerbe who told him Arum's offer was even worse that before the clottey fight and he told him to tell Arum to contact him again when he wanted to be serious.

Marley said "after that it was just Arum blowing smoke to the media to justify Margarito".

Floyd wanted to fight Oscar and Arum said no way it would happen because Arum does not deal with golden boy. Arum's refusal is why Floyd left Arum in the first place.

Pac has never fought anybody bigger who was anywhere near as fast and skilled as Floyd.

Pac has horrible defense, compubox numbers do not lie. On average he gets hit 4x more often than Floyd.

I think people that hate mayweather is just upset that he is very confindent and somewhat cocky. Who cares? It's not like we know him personally, also mayweather does not run in the ring. I actually paid very close attention and I see now before my own eye's he has very exceptional defense he is very hard to hit.
