I think Pretty Lights could work with pretty much any genre, the guy is a genius. Electronic music is the future! (and by that i mean not always purely electronic, i think the mix of electronic and real music/artists can produce amazing results) like this song for example

yeah, he altered her voice a lot. im sure her and her record company worked pretty closely with derek on this so i dont think its anything to get all worked up about. they obviously liked something about it or they wouldnt have allowed him to tweak her voice as much as he did.
