this was a very good performance. of course lisitsas is outstanding. but she has the advantage of having huge hands which help alot to play this piece very fast. as you know, rachmaninoff had big hands :) great playing!
0:07 is there in your sheet music an increase of speed besides a strenght one? I can't understand: every video i watch my ideas are always more confused, help me!
good job...! this piece is hard to play, it requires a lot of presicion... and do not worry for mistakes, is normal in pianists like us, we just have to practice more everyday... :)
I see....but you know you're not a professional yet so its natural u make mistakes! the beauty is HIDDEN in mistakes! why dont you check out my video?? i was in a recital too :D I'll post a video response
That's a slightly condescending remark, just because someone is a professional doesn't mean that make mistakes. We're essentially lied to when we listen to recordings of famous pianists because of the edditing. Look at Arthur Rubinstein's performances, and Horowitz's performances, they've all crashed and burned at times. Everyone (except Rachmaninoff) mistakes.
thank you! practicing is really up to you in my school, normally, we have to practicing quite a lot because after every 4 or 5 months, we're required to play a repertoire for exams.
BRUTAL piece well played.

wow, you've gotten notably better from your past videos. How many hours are you required to practice in this w/e music school you're in?
