wen i was at a sleepove with my friends my friends dad brought home a stray dog and wen the owner came the dog was frightened and was running away. the owner didnt even care about the dog and wen the owner drove off with the dog he started hitting it. thats wen me and my friends decided to make a video about animal cruelty i am gonna mention this video in our video
I am a co op student at my local shelter. i see this kinda of sadness everyday in the eyes of every animal. it always amazes me that no matter what these guys have been through, they are always so happy and full of hope. every time they step out of their cages their faces just light up with happiness. no animal this loyal to humans deserves to be abused or neglected.

I'm not sure what kind of shelters are in the States, but in Canada we have a place called the Humane Society, they do not euthanize; if a home is not found, the animal lives out their days at the shelter, which becomes like a home with the same people caring for them. Never put an animal in the SPCA, or random shelters....they will likely be killed!

I volunteer for an animal shelter and I cry to myself sometimes because I wish people would treat these animals better,I care so much about them,I cry for the animals, I try to make their days a bit happier with my love and attention.I feel their hurt and I tell people,please spay and neuter and I.d or microchip your pets.
Enough is enough...we need mandatory spade and neuter laws...that is the reason that there is laws...these people need to be told what to do..because they can't figure it out on their own...I pray that the people responsible for the overpopulation of dogs and cats don't have kids..if so, I fear for them

As everyone has said, Thank You!! I'm trying to get more involved to help stop animal abuse/shelter animals. How could you hurt those faces?? I don't get why people hurt animals. I recently adopted a kitten from my local animal shelter and she is great,I would be lost without her. When she is sleeping, I look in her eyes..and think "how could you hurt anything like her?" All shelters should be NO-KILL shelters. The shelter where I adopted my cat was a no-kill shelter.
The best dogs I have ever had were rescued from these shelters. They have had tough lives and they will love you unconditionally if you give them a good home.

I'm not sure what kind of shelters are in the States, but in Canada we have a place called the Humane Society, they do not euthanize; if a home is not found, the animal lives out their days at the shelter, which becomes like a home with the same people caring for them. Never put an animal in the SPCA, or random shelters....they will likely be killed!

I used to work in a shelter. Since I couldn't take them home, I did what I could to make them feel loved where they were.
