I agree that Heath was the perfect actor to portray this Joker. People you must remember that Christopher Nolan wanted to portray the sociopath twisted evil Joker. In my opinion, I think he portrayed it perfectly, but who knows? This is my opinion on TDKR...the main villain will be dr.hugo strange...and ras al ghul's daughter...she knows the secret to the fear inducing drug and hugo strange is a master chemist...see what im getting at? he also knows batmans true identity and will keep the city busy on batman, while he and al ghul finish what ras al ghul started...btw shouldnt the theme of this movie be destruction? Truly one of the best movies ever made. Period. As far as the next one, I have heard Robin Williams is in negotiations to play the Riddler. As he has shown in the past, Robin can be as dead serious as he can be funny. I have also read that there will never be a "Batman and Robin". The Dark Knight's closest confidant will be Alfred only. I have also heard there will be new vehicles as well, including a brand new Batmobile.

Dark Knight 3 will be the Riddler confirmed. But I hope thereafter they will do a movie on "Knight Fall" where Bane breaks the Batman and Azrael makes his debut. This would be an amazing storyline to use and with Nolan's style of directing, Bane would be the perfect villain to set the tone for the film.

Since your comment is a year old and you said "looks phenomenal" I'll assume you hadn't seen it at that point. Tim Burton's Batman was good for its time. It was dark enough to make people forget about the 1960's show and see Batman in a different light. But the world has drastically changed since then, and Nolan's Batman movies are more about fear and terrorism than the more stylized movies Burton did.
I heard from multiple sources that its gonna be the Riddler and The Black Mask in the 3rd one. Black Mask was originally set to be in Dark Knight, but they decided to put Harvey Dent/Two-face in instead. Nolan said he does want to introduce a villain thats never been used on screen, so Black Mask would make sense. It would be awesome seein Riddler and Black Mask on screen together. Black Mask is like Two-face except even more violent, evil, and scary lookin. A black mask was burned onto his face

Its the same amount of years it took from Batman Begins to The Dark Knight. I'd say give Chris Nolan all the time he needs so the film doesn't end up like spiderman 3.

ok this is what i have heard over at Nolans camp.
theyre replacing chris bale with adam west, theyre adding massive testicles to the bat suit, bill cosby is lucius fox, oprah is catwoman (studios execs said they needed more black people), stephan hawkins is the riddler and theyre digging up heath grave so he can play the joker again (only to kill him in the opening sequence). oh and johnny depp will be working as the boom stick operator.

Why would you say that Heath Ledger deserves to die? He was a great Actor, and the makeup looked fantastic! Especially in the scene where he attempted to shoot the mayor. P.S. Make up is the make up artist's responsiblitly. And nice name by the way. You should get a life, you're pathetic.
