People like to compare speed versus comfort, but it's more than that. The Shadow is not a slow vehicle by any measure, but personally I prefer the low speed torque over the high RPM rush of a sport bike. To each their own.

Wheres the comparison? You have a bike that weighs probably 100 lbs less going against a bike with a rider and someone riding bitch while filming. probably had 400 lbs riding on the shadow. Sportbikes are meant to be driven fast and cruisers are meant to be seen.

a good friend of mine has a shadow 750 and I have a ninja 250. My bike matches his for top speed and acceleration almost exactly... except for off the line, where he obviously has way more torque.. but by the time he's shifting into 2nd I've caught back up and then we're neck to neck. I'm sure the cruiser is more comfy... I enjoy the cornering performance of my bike more than I would enjoy sitting comfortably.. but to each his own.

my vt750c is awesome, i can ride 250 miles a day without a problem...i ride with a buddy that has a gixxer 750. his bike is fast and he can ride it all day too...but he has to relax when we get home.....i am still ready to go....what do you want? speed vs. comfort

haha, you can't really compare a sportbike to a cruiser... the difference in size. a cbr 600 could smoke it, they're made totally different, and the tach on those things wraps high as hell, you don't buy a cruiser for speed, more for comfort, that 900 could prolly beat my 1100 shadow. but at the end of the day i'm still prolly the one with the bigger smile on my face. and about the windshield huber, it doesn't eliminate wind but it helps a hell of a lot

I've had both, and would put a Japanese cruiser way above a Harley any day. First of all a Harley is way over priced and seem to like going in the shop a lot. Ride a Harly Road King and then ride a Gold Wing. No comparison. Not even close.

I have a Honda Shadow 750, and it accels decent enough to have fun. OF COURSE a Ninja should be able to smash my cruiser. That's why they're called crotch rockets. Cruisers are meant to be relaxed and fun, not sick fast. Like secoepollo said, run with the same kind of bikes, and give some respect to us V-twin riders.
