The case drew wide attention because of its shocking premise: McInerney, in a fit of homophobic rage, killed 15-year-old Larry King at E.O. Green Junior High School in Oxnard because he was offended by King's dress and how the victim interacted with him.
Maybe it never occurred to you that, since you are addressing young people in middle school and high school in places like Idaho and Alabama, that it might be better not to refer to them as "queer" - a word they probably hear every day, and not in the ironic sense. I hope it isn't the case that you care more about using politically correct, activist-approved jargon than actually conveying a message to gay (not "queer") youth.
It gets better when you abondon the homosexual lifestyle.
No one should abuse other people, regardless of their orientation. Also, no one should ever commit suicide, no matter what. We should love people, even if they get mixed up in homosexuality. There is a way out.
My oh my are you cute! Thank you for your contribution to this effort. Here is mine:

WOW! So many good things in this video by Sean. It is longer than usual but Sean speaks so eloquently and so quickly that I actually want to hear more. Great words from a wonderful person. Just so great.
All I can say is thank you. This coming from a 16 year old dealing with all these issues I honestly do thank. You cant even begin to understand how much better hearing this makes me feel.
I bet you are one of those people who makes tons of money from the government that runs "support groups" that encourage people to fall on the bayonets of the homophobes.
I am a fag but straight up... mentioning it in every sentence seemed to be what pissed everyone off and pretending to act female... which I did for a couple years because a couple of bulldykes said that is how gay guys act. After I acted like me and beat the piss out of some mouthy homophobe everything was fine.
@jimbobubbadj, I think San Francisco is generally very open as to their sexual orientation, especially today. That said, growing up in high school is going to be a different experience.
@jimbobubbadj depending on what part of SF you live and well in all the hole bay area like my area is anti-gay but if you take the train or bus to Berkly or even parts of SF its no big deal as SF for the most part is Gay friendly but some areas around it are not like that its like any other big city is a big ass melting pot and some areas are friendly and some are not..but that's life.
the savage video was VERY compelling -- and adorable...
i knew i was gay when i was 10 years old, back in the early pleistocene era of the 60's, and actually realizing that fact probably made it easier on me, though i was closeted -- yet others 'knew'. later in college, working for my mom's firm one summer, after a very hard and hot day, i came out to my mom angrily, saying "and btw, i'm GAY! (blaming HER for it). from that pt on she tried to arrange dates -- with other men! lol
@bbbbmer i was truly luck to have had an amazing parent... she was CEO of a small investment firm for many years, and was tough as nails... but AMAZINGLY progressive, politically, and on occasion, WAYYYYY cool... she passed away 14 years ago, and i still miss her terribly at times, but she was probably my #1 hero in life, and I hope i have one scintilla of her courage... i thank my lucky stars that she was so understanding that i was queer -- she also gave me my first BMW! lol

Thanks for reminding us that even in a gay friendly city things can be tough. I am glad that you have now found your voice.

The image I have of San Francisco is wrong then. I thought people there where very open as to their sexual orientation.
