Yes T3 was much more tactical. Now it's all about who can juggle you towards a wall and pound the shit out of you with your remaining 30% hp. I much prefer playing T3 online than T6..

I am SO GLAD to see this is fake. Tekken 3 is the best fighting game ever; and it's mainly because there are no 80 hit combos. That's right, there are no "you get hit once and then you get your whole life bar pounded to shit while you stare at the screen seeing your character being mashed in the air, unable to move or counterattack". This was tactical play, gentlemen. No combo would destroy 70% of your life back then. This was Tekken's essence, which was destroyed from Tekken 4 and onwards.

@Owneador1337 then you havent played t6 enough, its much smoother and responds much better, as if you're the character itself, it is noob to use the same combo over and over again, its way more fun to show your skills and use different combo's, by using other launchers/counterattacks (this makes it harder for the opponent to anticipate, and the game more fun :D), btw, the combo's that take 70% are high skilled combo's, so much harder to use and you have to improvise from which situation you are

@Owneador1337 and then ofcourse you have the ''no-wall'' levels, a whole different concept of tekken, because you have to change all your tactics, you cant pressure your enemy into the wall, and make smart use of the wall anymore, so your whole plan is changed, now you must fight freely, just attacking and defending, trying to poke him, then use a counter when you agitated him into attacking, try to play mindgames, and so on and on

damn, I love this complex and fucking fun game to death :D

@omid1337 All the Tekken 3 levels were "no-wall". No combo depleted your healthbar, though small aerial combos did exist, but had to be well-timed to be executed and only took about 5% of your health away.

As in: Attack, hit him 2-3 times and toss him into the air (-20% hp) and THEN hit 1-2 times for another -5% hp while in the air.

In newer Tekkens, it's: Attack 2-3 times (-20% hp) in te air hit 7-8 times and take -40% hp away. The other player can't do anything. Sucks ass.

@Owneador1337 that's why tekken 6 is a major improvement over tekken 3, they only have ''no-wall'' levels, you can't skill your self up a lot, cause of the simple play (doesnt respond good, no juggels, there are less moves in tekken 3, etc), after playing tekken 3 a while, you'll get bored, tekken 6 you can play ALL the fucking time, it never gets boring, because of its great diversity of gameplay, tekken 3 can't compete in anyway with tekken 6, and if people think so, they are no true fans..

@omid1337 Tekken 3 responds perfectly, no juggling is a positive thing (juggling is what ruined this series), and there are more than enough moves on Tekken 3.

I didn't get bored from Tekken 3. I still play it every now and then (well, I play tag, which is very similar).

I am not a "true fan" of a series. This is not a sport, or a musician. This is a videogame. If it's unentertaining or broken (balance-wise) or has lost is essence, I will not keep following it/buying it. As simple as that.

@omid1337 I have had everyone, Tekken 6 has bad loading times and nothing especially new, the fight system was perfect in 3 and juggling in 6 has changed in my opinion the series for the worse. I love tekken but 6 for me was a let down. Cant wait till tag hope its an improovement - just because its the most recent and thus the tournaments play the most recent game does not mean it is automatically the best. Its an ok game but i think they could of done lot more.

@dckitchen why are you guys whining about the juggling all the time, its just as negative as it is positive, it can happen to you, but you can also make it happen to your opponent, and not everybody can juggle, especially not when we are talking about 70% damage, it takes a real long time to train yourself to that, btw, its a lot better than tekken 3, where you'll get smashed on the ground, and they wont let you get up by hitting you all the time, that shit can get avoided easily with tekken 6..
