  • i am sooo glad that there are no dislikes =) i LOVE this song

  • This is beautiful

  • jesus te amooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo eres lo ejor que me ha pasado en la vida!!!!!!! =)

  • @ krapsch...All that mzplaygirl254 was saying is not that the song is sad in content but that it brings back a very sad time in her life. Mercy and understanding are fruits of the Holy Spirit.

  • This is NOT a sad song! It's about our beautiful Heavenly Father, God's Holy Son who died for us and rose again so we could have freedom from sin and eternal life. If we think it's sad it's because we forgot that He rose again. It's a victorious, beautiful, full of hope and joy at the thought of being with Him one day forever. When I hear it, I am filled with joy, thankfulness for what He did for us and delightful expectation of the end of my journey here on earth and going to be with Him...

  • I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH BUT HOWEVER IT MAKES ME CRY BECAUSE THIS IS A VERY SAD SONG TO ME BECAUSE I SANG THIS SONG AT MY SONS FUNERAL WHEN HE HD PASSED AWAY WHEN HE WAS 1 MO AND 18 DAYZ HE IS VERY WELL MISSED AND LOVED BUT GOD HAD OTHER PLANS FOR HIM GOD BLESS TO ALL

  • love it! chris tomlin is so totally awesome!

  • One of the best written songs of all time. This is a song who actually says something, unlike most og the modern christian songs.

  • Oh, and admin, that was an accident, if you could delete the last and first post, that'd be great.

  • we sang an absolutely BEAUTIFUL arrangement for SATB choir of the song in church this morning!

  • beautiful song!!! i love it!! :' )

  • Re: Highest Rated Comments: It seems to me that coreybhayes wasn't referring to works, he was speaking of surrender... how much of your life you give over to God's control. "God will fill you to what measures you give to him.." It's true that nothing we could ever offer to God can be compared to what God has already given us, in His Son... but God does want us to offer Him ourselves, in total surrender and trust.

  • l love this song, l really would love to play it on the guitar. May God all Mighty help me. to acknowledge His Greatness.... well done , love it... God bless

  • keep listening to it and play along until you feel it and it'll begin to come naturally. it took me awhile but i wasn't a born guitar player. you'll get it! let me know if you need chords/tabs for this song.

  • I've been thinking of this song all day. I'm really glad I looked it up.

  • Beautiful

  • I don't know ziyulu, but he added me!

  • your wrong coreybhayes, it is not about how much we give god becuz nuthing can compare to what jesus did on the cross. you are simply saying that christianity is about works

  • Tru Dat! : )

Exactly- it's not about what we do- we are blessed by grace!

  • Here is the thing guys... faith is belief and actions. James says faith without works is dead. James goes on to say that dead faith can't save a man. We in our culture think that belief and faith are things we have (they are) but in the culture in which they were written these nouns were also inseparable from the actions. Christianity ISN'T about our works, but we still work to please God through Jesus. Our offering still needs to be made but its worthiness isn't because of ourselves, but Jesus.

  • @js897 Contextually works aren't being referred to in a legalistic sense, or even in the sense that we could ever offer God anything that compares to what He has given. The person means that you need to offer yourself completely to God--allow Him to reign in all areas of your life, all the secret chambers and corridors. In this God will fill you fuller with His Spirit. It is about you decreasing and Him increasing as you follow Jesus, the King. Romans 12. Love God, and do what you will~Augustine

  • @js897 Christianity is about obedience, that obedience naturally comes from a regenerated heart that desires good works. The solid rock that the wise man builds on is obedience to Christ's Words. Matthew 7:24 and James 2:17. If there is no good works there is no obedience, if there is no obedience there is no relationship and no new birth. Guess what, no new birth and relationship there is no salvation.

  • what a pretty song

  • I don't know ziyulu, but he added me!

  • Ok christianity isnt about crying.. and i know what you mean its a blessing and you really want it sometimes.. But following christ is the big deal.. Its not about the song. its about how much you offer to god. God will fill you to what measures you give to him.. offer a cup he will over fill the cup, offer a rooom full.. He will over fill the room. He is our Uncreated King.. Because infact. he is the creater

  • for as we know that no man can be righteous by works but by faith in GOD...we dont do nothing,we just accepted GOD as our personal Savior...and by accepting it the holy spirit is working out in our lives which by means of God's purpose...

  • He is the creator but we be only saved if we accepted Him as our personal Savior...for in John 3:16 for whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting lives...

  • @coreybhayes Faith is belief and actions. James says faith without works is dead. James goes on to say that dead faith can't save a man. • @thaillen

"we still work to please God through Jesus"

Let me make this clear - if you have faith in Jesus' sacrifice then I have INCREDIBLE news! God is your Father - you are adopted as his child. Read Ephesians Chapter One. You have ALL the riches of inheritance and blessings. You don't need to work to please him. He loves you! You can anger him with your sin, just as a Father is angry with a child - but he disciplines because he loves, only to draw you closer. :) God bless

  • @coreybhayes Nope! being a Christian is about following Christ and His instructions. It's about what you can do for Him on this earth to bring lost souls to Him and to minister on His behalf to the wounded. It's not about what you can get out of Him. He gave to us unconditionally so if we are folling Him then we should give to Him unconditionally.

  • @coreybhayes dear what do you think you can offer God if everything is from Him and through Him, it is not about what we do but about what Jesus did on the cross. " For it is by Grace you have been saved, not by works but as a gift for God so no one can boast" Eph2:7-9. it is what you believe that matters, that we are forgiven our sins all sins are paid for by the precious blood of Jesus.

  • I love this song. Chris Tomlin was the music guy at summer camp this year, and this one got most of us crying.
