  • looks like you wont have problems changing the water pump or timing belt!

  • shoulda put a sr in it

  • @bmx2dayy why?... maybe the b16a is just fine.

  • @bmx2dayy woulda weighed so much it`d tip on its arse just standing still

  • @ToreDL87 hahaha its just .4 of a liter more

you still have an awesome ride though honda or nissan powerd.

  • @bmx2dayy Toyota 1UZFE V8 is lighter than SR setup ;)

  • what kind of exhauset iz it

    \

  • put a pro circuit pipe hahaha

  • where can i find one of those gearboxes????

  • 3 people own a prius

  • This is beautiful! Two very good combos of vehicles. The two things is how did you bolt up the Transaxle and my biggest thing I want to know is how did you make it run clockwise when its meant to run counterclockwise?

  • I LOVE IT! id take that IM inna sec if i saw it parked!!!!!

  • so you used a vw transmission but what bell housing did you use? also how did you make the tail asft meet up to the honda motor? vw clutch in honda pressure plate & flywheel? please lemme know cause im working on a build like this right now

  • nice fucking car man... i like your engine..

  • @saulydana1991 i dont think its even a car. more like offroad dirt cart of something

  • so how did you find a tranny to match up like that?

  • so how did you find a tranny to match up like that?

  • i love that u recycled the rad bottle from a vw

  • i wanna see this in action

  • kehggtnm

  • SICK.

  • DAM CAN I SLAM THAT IN MY EG JAJAJAJA

  • Sounds like a formula racer. :D

  • Bad ass!! love that you kept the VC badge on too.

  • wow!! mad props!!!

  • wow!! mad probs!!!

  • insane

  • All b series motors actually turn counter clockwise, the only motors in the world that do :)

  • @Grey07Honda just all b series in general?

  • B16 running clockwise? doesnt make sense at all

  • Hey, on the upside the timing belt is easy to change. Nice build.

  • rwd drive,b16a,off road,sounds like fun

  • lol its funny how the tires say American on them then you get to the motor and....um...not american lol

  • competition or weekend driver ?

  • everyone want a lil peice of asian in them lol

  • allsome VTEC power

  • Other then the adapter plate what did it take to make this happen? I have a baja that i want to put a VTEC motor into it just like this setup but not for racing just a daily driver.

  • This must be rediculously fun to drive!

  • Fucking sick!!!

  • Awsome.

  • i bet those freaking honda haters would still call this rice, nice job man

  • @HighpebeAst no because im what people call honda haters and i think this is bad ass!

  • wow nice job man

  • see my other video's

  • @deflierefluiter

where can i get headers like that????

  • any videos of this moving would live to see

  • holy shit, how do you mange to get the tranny to work that way???

  • @asianstyle123 its a VW T2 sequential dog engagement gearbox.

  • @deflierefluiter

How much modding was needed to get that VW gearbox onto it?

  • They are Toda VTEC killer cams, you have to take everything off the head that has anything to do with VTEC to run them. So no, it no longer has VTEC, but those cams are sick.

  • I agree, the cam could be a vtec grind but the thing is the vtec solenoid appears to be missing, If the solenoid is not there, there's no oil pressure to lock up the vtec system in the valve train.

  • @siret the one thing I am super curious about is what transmission is that connected to?

  • @siret The gearbox is from a Volkswagen van

  • very unique..... i love it. vtecs rock!!!!

  • @FLASHDEEZY08 there is no vtec in that engine

  • @FLASHDEEZY08 it doesnt have vtec. its got TODA vtec killer cams. vtec is dead in that engine.

  • thats bad ass

  • lol finally a Honda motor placed in what it should be. LOL.

  • i need to mod my civic like this so i can have rear wheel drive

  • v8ERMANN .. you have failed ...

"technically there is always vtec with them because the cams keep vtec fully engaged all the time..."

Technically, at this point there is no longer VTEC .. It wont engage and it's not "fully engaged all the time"

Don't claim to have knowledge, if you have no clue what your talking about.

  • @0spaceboy technically there is always vtec with them because the cams keep vtec fully engaged all the time...

  • I have wanted to build something similar with an extra b16a2 I have laying around. I wouldn't put those fucking todas on it, but I bet that thing fucking rolls.

  • now that is what you call....custom

  • wait....how the hell are you running that B16 motor clockwise??? Please someone inform me.

  • What kinda Transmission is that?

  • vtec must sounds sick right behind your ears lol !

  • yes sr i saw your others videos several times ...seems u don't want to tell me how ...i respect that ..but any way tnks...may be i put the original honda gearbox i dont race so is not important to me i saw some american guys put the honda engine in the back with a easy trick is possible to shift and more soft in clutch and maybe some lsd gearbox in future...or k20 is good to dream hahahaha...!!!

  • HOW DO YOU CLOCKWISE A B16

  • Nice honda engine. These plates are easy to make don't be fooled you can bolt almost anything up to any engine with a converter plate people. Lookup the electric car conversion they do tons of these plates to electric motors.

  • wow thanks a lot now i want one lol

  • Nice work, so did you have to flip the pistons around to run it backwards? I'm pretty sure the gugeon is offset for anti-clockwise operation.

YOu might find your bores wear fast.

So are you running dry sump with an electric oil pump? Stock pump would be no good running backwards and are they custom cams or did you just flip them end on end?

  • That shit must dip

  • That is some sick shit...

  • thats fuccin tight...

  • HI HI HI ....buggy vtec??? crazyman hi hi hi

  • KILLA!!!!!!!!

  • mxrider stick to mx riding cuz if u knew anything about VTEC u'd know that it engages in both inake and exhaust, also how can the syncronizing pin engage a larger cam thats already there?? is the cam electronic??? no wat acually happens is that when oil buids to a certain rpm usually around 45-4800rpm the syncronizing pistons push in and lock all 3 rocker arms so that they hold the valves open longer.

  • uh, no, just the intake. sorry.

  • uh no it is both intake and exhaust on a bseries motor. single cams are only on the intake side.

  • just lets more air/fuel into the cylinder, doesnt do anything to exhaust at all.

  • @clean4dreg a vtech cam has more than one set of lobes per cylinder, a mild set and an aggressive set, when vtech kicks in the vtech silenoid engages the rockerarms that ride on the larger set of cam lobes and thats where the extra power comes from

  • vtec go kart ftw!!

  • THAT IS SICK I LOVE IT

  • well at least for this motor there are no rocker arms since its a dohc motor but in a sohc does have rocker arms

  • ya you just have to change the head to a vtec head and vtec cams and geta vtec solenoid and valve cover and you either thave to wire in a vtec button or get a new ecu that supports vtec and what the hell is this other kid talking about your a fucking idot first off all vtec really is a electronic soleniod which actuates a pin that engages a larger cam lobe on the exhaust side to keep the exhaust valve open and since do over head cam engines have rocker arms this isnt a pushrod style valvetrain

  • nice dude

  • but theres one problem with riding with in sand and dirt and stuff. the engines sitting right behind the wheels and and that stuff goes flying up right on the engine and that belt.

  • oh no! not the 4 dollar alternator belt!

  • it would stop working properly and mess up the engine if it got too dirty....

i'm also pretty damn sure that your engine shouldn't be in a cast of mud

  • my friend just swapped in a ls vtec in his crx and another friend said that he shouldent have bought the whole engine and that all he would of had to do is change out the heads is that true cuz im not shure.any feed bak would be awsome

  • rwd or fwd ?

  • why put this diamond is a shity thing like this???

  • does anyone else notice the Vtec solinode is missing???? just wondering

  • it has toda vtec killer cams. the vtec solenoid is no longer needed.

  • oh ya i forgot its on both sides but either way ppl make vtec out to be this amazing thing when alot of ppl dont actually know what it is they just like the word vtec lol

  • ppl apparently dont know what vtec is you cant make vtec 24/7 cuz all vtec really is an extended exhaust cam lobe vtec killers dont give you constant vtec they just have a very high lift and wide timing thats what gives them the sound and power

  • vtec isnt just on the exhaust side its on the intake cam as well.

  • Well thats sort of what TODA VTEC Killers do, they "kill" vtec.. and push the engine at a high lift all the time..

  • vtec isnt in the cams chief, its in the rocker arms, either just the intake side, or both intake and exhaust depending on what engine. That buggy is sick anyways. awsome project whoever built it.

  • actully its both..

you need the third lobe on the cams for the rocker arms

  • true true haha. forgot about those damn middle lobes.

  • for the cams eliminating vtec. you have to get rid of vtec when you want to make more than 500hp. and not seeing anything hinting to forced induction im sure he or shes not there yet. and for the clockwise running, im thinking its just the way its mounted with the transmission. i think it should be left at that untill the person who made this set up explains

  • howd you make it turn clockwise? and ya it definitely appears to be turning counter clockwise anyway

  • Can any one explay how this motor was able to run clock wise????

  • looks like its turning counter clockwise to me

  • SICK!!!!! It probably has a better power to weight ratio than a Viper!

  • dude what the....

  • holy badass

  • sickkkk

  • Comment removed

  • and the VTEC Selenoid ?? ???

  • Comment removed

  • toda? please explain.

  • its a company thats known 4 building crazy ass naturally aspirated honda motors

  • cool. now more info?

  • TOda vtec killer cams. They are N/A cams made by toda that eliminates the vtec

  • ok, that's what im looking for, but why would you want to eliminate VTECH? dont you mean it makes the VTECH constantly in function?

  • Comment removed

  • oh sorry, i was drunk when i posted this. haha. by the way, i race a VTEC eg.

  • is it true TODA CAMS makes the Vtech on 24/7 from 1000 rpms all the way to 8000 and beyond?

  • as i was told. yes.

  • Clock.. wise? :O

  • axaxaxa

dont tell that the engine is running backwards !!!!

    honda is anti-

  • this cant be toda cams. its running clockwise so it must be a custom cam setup.

  • Its running the right direction...

  • EXTREMELY LIGHTWEIGHT!!!

  • dhoc vtec dude a a turbo in there

    then go race

  • your comment is a fail stunboi21

  • very cool custom. excellent job with that Honda engine!

  • that's fucken wierd....clockwise huh...honda manuals recommend not to rotate the crank clockwise or timing will be off...lol..cool n fast

  • how did you get it turn clockwise?

  • Whos the F did you get thsi shit to run clockwise??? Flip the cam??

  • ad say that fast!

  • Alright, so basically the vtec killers do one thing. The eliminate vtec. The kit replaces the rockers with a solid rocker w/roller. Then the cam only has one profile on it, which is in the place of the vtec lobe. There is no secondary lobes. So, vtec cannot kick in because there is no switch over, its on high cam at all times. Of course there is no high cam since there is only one profile

  • the reason for vtec killers are to elimite the vtec ( more for race purposes) and it creates the lobe hight as if vtec were on. bassicly saying these cams make it so like vtec is always on. now you gotta use some comon sence to think about this and obvisly im throwing this in a serious nut shell

  • Exactly... Just what I said...

  • Its clearly a GSR, dumbfucks.

  • I'm sorry, I don't want to start a argument, but how is that clearly a GSR? How can you tell? It has individual throttle bodies, so you cant tell by the intake manifold.

I can tell that it either has a type r head or b16 head. Reason why is where the top coolant port is on the head. B16 heads are towards the back of the head under the distributor, while gsr's are right under the vtec solenoid. Though this motor doesn't have a solenoid, the coolant line is clearly at the back of the head.

  • ya you are pretty fuckin stupid. thats not a gsr at all the person who uploaded the video might not be the person whos vehicle that is but they know its not a gsr and they put what it is because i doubt someone is going to buy a type r and put all that money into it just to be in this little thing.

  • @YadidaDookie

U would be Surprised How much money they spend on these cars :D Think 15.000euro +

    Search on youtube : Keverklasse

  • VTEC killer cams were designed for competition where variable valve timing wasn't allowed. So the engine is essentially running in VTEC all the time. Thus "VTEC killer". It eliminates VTEC.

  • holy fak i wana see that shet run.

  • that engine isnt VTEC?

  • Not anymore. The aftermarket camshafts eliminate the vtec. The motor comes stock with vtec.

  • explains why i cant see the solenoid lol

    thanks

  • actually its still vtec, vtec will actually be kicked in even harder with the cam, cuz the rocker arms will be riding on the cams lobe differently

  • No, vtec will never kick in with toda vtec killer cams. Toda vtec killer cams have one profile on them. They ride on a solid roller rocker. There is no primary and secondary rockers or lobes.

So basically like everyone says, it will always be in vtec because there is one lobe, one profile, one rocker for every two vavles in one cyclinder, intake and exhaust.

  • Comment removed

  • looks like it's easy to work on if anything was to go wrong

  • sick, we use those american racers for the fronts on our sprint car :)

  • Hence the name "VTEC KILLER" cams by Toda. They KILL the vtec engagement. You can see there is NO vtec solenoid behind the oil cap to engage vtec at the normal threshold of 5500 rpm.

  • The solenoid would not be behind the oil cap like on a d16. On a b16 or b18 vtec motor the solenoid is at the end of the exhaust cam. Right behind the exhaust cam cap. In the video you will see a blue -an fitting plug where the solenoid would usually be.

  • To all those that have little to no knowledge of honda motors.. this is a b16a DOHC VTEC motor. BUT, it has Toda VTEC Killer cams.. basically there is NO vtec in this motor, because the cam profiles are way more aggressive just at idle than they are when the stock b16 cams are in vtec. Killer idea with the VW! DONT HATE, PARTICIPATE!

  • "cam profiles are way more aggressive just at idle"

These cams dont change depending engine rpm hahaha

  • The vtec killers dont but factory cams adjust valve timing at the vtec crossover. My point is that the cams are more aggressive at idle than the stock cams are in vtec.

  • 50 mpg anyone? haha

  • lol lawnmover

  • its a volkswagen with a honda motor in it that gay you need to take out the honda and a put a volkswagen back in it you fail

  • watch the autocross vid of this car fag...that honda whips the shit outta the rest of em...you fail

  • does it do a wheelie when VTEC kicks in??! hahaha jokin, but that's pretty sick!! i'd love to take it for a rip

  • yo there is no VTEC ricer n00b

  • Im just gona guess you flipped the cams backwards. lol. Crazy mechanical work indeed.

  • wow hahah that looks so crazy...i wanna see it run

  • AHAHYAHAH fucking crazy

  • thats fuckin badass. JDM go cart

  • Comment removed

  • lol vtec gocart

  • Why would it run clockwise?

  • crazyyy lol

  • thats a bad ass set up it looks fast as hell and you were in first so yea are you the only one running a honda engine or do alot of guys run honda ?b20 is not good for endurance I would bore out a type R and stroke it if they had a 2 liter class!

  • a type r needs only a stroker to be 2.0 liter, not a bore out

  • trow a honda emble on the front man haha

  • I BET IS FUN TO DRIVE.

  • That is an awsome engine. 10,000+ rpm's :)

    with a few upgrades

  • What is all the hype about the B16 engine? I mean every Ls build or Gsr build they some times use B16 head, pisons, intake...etc. what makes it so good?

  • b16 head flows better stock, the head is otherwise the same. The pistons are way higher compression, and the intake manifold is also much better stock. So when u put everything together and swap these parts into a better block with a bigger stroke.... more power. The b16 itself is actually kinda limited do to its small displacement and deck height, gsr is essentially the same block but has a higher deck hight, allowing for much more power if it had higher compression and better flow.
