it comes back now and then but its manageable. pull the shoes keep the feet dry and cowboy magics thrush killer works well... winters are the hardest! good luck :]
He's beautiful. I just don't understand how some people can just give up on their horses. You made a great decision on keeping him. I can tell you really love him. (:
Thanks hes a sweetie. I just found out his sire passed away at 35 so he will probably be around for another 15 years or so... and here I thought he was getting old haha
Me too, I have been thinking about teaching him to go bridleless so we have a new challenge but its going to be a big one because he's not the easiest horse :) I love him.
yeah I have ridden him with a string around his neck... hes cooperative until he decides he has better things to do! you'll have a horse one day, I was lucky that my mom was into horses growing up but she didn't get her first horse until she was 23.
His story has put tears in my eyes, so sad about his hoofs & so many people do give up on their horses, you made a brave choice & now you are rewarded by a beautful horse friend who must love you lots.
Thank you he is the best friend I could ever ask for. For me it was the right choice to keep him, he has always been a pet and you can't sell your pet!
