I had a college Algebra professor who would go over just one chapter a month. We remembered how to solve the graphing equations without the graphing calculators. He spent a lot of the time going over the chapter and explaining every detail of every number, symbol, what's their purpose and history. He was very passionate about Math. I passed that class with a B which is a big deal for me since I have dyscalculia. Passionate teachers are needed for student success, no matter the grade level.
