I always see the R-1 as some sort of Zeta Gundam/God Gundam patchwork. It has the R-Wing (Wave Rider) mode, the general silhouette and details and pretyy Zeta-ish, and it's mostly Melee based with a Shining fist attack and a ranged, pure energy final attack. Plus, Ryusei is so hotblooded he can boil water by screaming at it.
Even if the Huckebeins are supposed to be Gundams, I still think the R-1 looks more like one than anything else. It's the color scheme, most likely. I'm not used to a totally deep blue Gundam. Also the shield and gun combo it has on the OGS boxart. Also the R-2 being a Guncannon. Also the R-3 being a super sexyfied Gundam. Also the R-Blade looking a lot like a Strike Dagger.
@NegativeSquad ahhh , you"re comparing it to the gundam seed"s ms , but huckebein and the R's 'were made before that.... but if u decided to compare it to the older generation of gundam , you are 100% right .
well since i have the ost for both and the game its time to play them over each other and your right I can hear the difference in what your where saying
considering that i have both alpha 3 and ogg its hard to tell a real difference in his theme compared to ibis theme in alpha 2 alpha 3 and ogg and villeta theme sure sounds the same in both games as well as ace attacker. but i can hear some differences in ace attacker ver. w and wild flug
I wish Ryusei's special Ability is to pilot All Machines in SRW, where he will have his own Dialogue with the machine

Actually it's only the R-Blade that I think of as a thing from SEED. I at least think that was made for OG2, which was after SEED.
There probably is some other weakened MP Gundam of some kind it's similar to, but SEED is the only one I've actually watched.

Its a little hard to tell unless you play them right on top of each other, but its there.
OGs has a bit of a harder edge in the undertones compared to Alpha 3's.
