that dosn't look very steady to me! i know its homemade, but i just saw some other guys homemade steadicam-tripod here on youtube, and his was, sorry to say it, better (ie. more steadier)

Better than going handheld. It's better to use your tripod as a steadycam.

haha thanks! you can also use your tripod as a steadycam. you crank out the center column and hold it at it's balance point with the camera attached.
