As a Lakers fan, I used to say "he's not that good, he only looks like a decent player cauz of the 'Big 3".

I've watched his game over the past 2 seasons, and yeah, dude's improved greatly. He does his PG role (setting up the O, passing, penetrate to draw the D) very well. Once he gets that consistent ranged shooting, he's gonna be undisputed All-Star quality.

Rondo doesn't need to score 30+ cause he's got the Big 3 for the scoring anyway, its gonna be hard for him to carry the team, being surrounded by All stars. But averagin a triple double in the playoff series is far greater than scoring a mere 55 points in 1 game, Brandon Jennings aint consistent. What his stats are now, is making his 55 point night look like a fluke...

Dude?? were you watching the bulls last season? Those guys were contenders. This year they aren't as good but that doesn't take away the fact that last year they were balling. First of all, no one understands that the bulls last year going into the playoffs were 22-4, or something like that. They were easily the hottest team in all of the NBA EASILY. The fact that he averaged a triple-double against another incredible player in Derrick Rose

The fact that you say he can only pass and rebound must be the dumbest thing I've ever heard anyone say about Rondo. Yeah he doesn't shoot well, but he's only 24.  Have you ever seen him dunk, lay it up, or teardrop?

To be honest, Rondo may not ever put up 35pts this season. Why? Because the team has enough scoring as it is.

Boston has Paul Pierce and Ray Allen as their main shooting threats.

Off the bench, they have Eddie House and Rasheed Wallace.

What he does do is manage the game, drive to the rim and rebound like a beast. In the playoffs last yr, he avg'd 9.7 RPG, and he's 6'1, 171lbs. 8-)

Rondo, to be frank, doesnt have to score alot of points.

eddie house is really good. If we didn't have Ra y Allen, he would have more playing time, obviously, and average about 17 points a game. He gets 8.5 PPG in half the time it takes Ray Allen to get 18.2. Consider he'll get more playing time than Allen because of a lack of a bench w/out him, than House could get 20 PPG.
