  • I propose a Constitutional amendment. (thumbs up if you want it.)

If a bill shall pass from this day forward that is found to be unconstitutional, those that shall have voted to pass such a bill, shall be Impeached without vote upon the finding of unconstitutionality.

  • Piss on the Federal Government!!!

  • This guy is an idiot, there haven't been any gun bands or restrictions since the Clinton admin. If any one has any prof to the contrary tell me name of the bill.

  • Go Montana! It is you right and authority to preserve liberty in your state. Don't let the UN-controlled Obamunists to steal your liberties and turn you into socialist slaves!

  • @Linguiphile You know if montana fell of the face of the earth no one would really notice. Keep your silly gun laws.

  • @cesar333 you think that is true? well just think this say North Korea lunches a nuke or a few at the us. do you know what state would protect the us? Montana!

  • @fuckcodepink666 Whats going to save us? Bear shit??? Some wild berries?? Give me a break.

  • @cesar333 ok have Montana just vanish, have some rouge country attack, than see how this country does with out its main source of minute man missiles, have fun being dead. to bad you didnt learn anything in school, its a shame really. but i guess hockey players are all stupid shits anyway.

  • @fuckcodepink666 Oh shit what decade were you born in? You sound paranoid. You know the cold war is over right? Or are you still sitting under your desk to protect you from a nuke?

  • @cesar333 you do realize how many nukes are missing from russia right?

  • @fuckcodepink666 Yes I do but you know what it takes to launch a missile??? its not just push a button and its off. It takes planning from ground and air. It takes an infrastructure to do something like that. Stop watching movies.

  • What happens if the supreme court says NO to Montana's law and then Montana laughs and says "Ah, but the 10th amendment says that YOU supreme court-have NO authority in this matter either. So thanks for your opinion but our law will stay on the books here.

  • @hiruleshouse You can keep your laws, no one goes to your stupid state anyways.

  • @cesar333 I don't live in Montana. People come to MY state all the time. One of the top tourism states ever in my opinion.

  • Why should the people have taxes and laws they dont want because the federal government wants to make a one size fits all decision. That belief is what a states rights-es beliefs .

  • NY doesn't need to push their policies on someone in ID. Just because one or several states sees a problem with the laws governing an issue should not require other states that are dealing with the same issue satisfactorily to change their laws. When the Fed dictates and controls solutions they are likely to be unresponsive to the climate and issues of individual states with less political pull in the fed.

  • If people in MA want liberal and socialist policies, let them have it. But if AL wants a capitalist economy, let them have it. That is liberty and freedom. If a citizen doesnt like their states decisions or laws they could simply move to another state that suits them. Thus giving more free choice to the individual. Federal control foists too many unwanted laws that are unresponsive to the needs and sensibilities of differing thought and ideas.

  • @JeffreyMLicano11 Very well thought out and worded!

  • "States rights" is just a code word used by white supremacist.

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

  • @cesar333 Huh? You need to do some research. "Stupid" yes I put it in quotes because you are an idiot.

  • @cesar333 right cesar333-the key phrase in that clause you are reading is "In PURSUANCE THEROF" so if the laws made are NOT "In pursuance thereof" the constitution then they are NOT the supreme law of the land. The clause you just quoted PROVES it.

  • The States should revitalize the Militia. Do that and you'll put a Check and Balance on the Federal Strong Arms.

  • I'm for states right, but it goes far beyond firearms. If states decide to legalize medical or recreational Marijuana the same principle should apply. There are many other things that should be left up to the states, but marijuana and firearms are the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

  • Either get the Federal Government under control or end it. The way things are now, I want Texas to begin steps to get out. The US is bankrupt and threatens my right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

  • Awesome... I absolutely love nothing more than seeing the size of our federal government SHRINK!!!

  • @UGApballer Your penis would shrink before the government does.

  • any update on this? i've been looking for it online but can't find any info.

  • Cathy is a perfect example of why a 'D' student brain surgeon, is not as good as an 'A' student brain surgeon. Good parents don't let their children become liberals. These parents, Cathy lacked.

  • @micahxmp I smell karma brewing up a storm in your favor. Dont be surprised when your son brings home his "life partner" named pedro and wants to share his room.

  • Why is there this horrible fear of the federal Gov? I don't understand. It's your government. You elect them every election cycle. WHY? How are your liberty and freedom being threatened? Guns kill people. Guns do not ensure freedom from an oppressive government. Your country is guided and formed by the people you elect.

  • Dude BigJ, you are soooo naive. You should study the history of collectivist governments like Nazi (National Socialism) Germany, Communist Russia, etc. All these nations disarmed their respective populaces before turning them into peasants

  • Hitler was elected, too.

  • And so was George Bush-- let us not forget. And so were McKinley and Nixon. A president who waged pre-emptive war, another imperialist president and a "crook" who kept us mired in Vietnam.

  • The State is the only group of people with the (self-granted) authority to exercise unprovoked violence against me. The Vote is a method to keep people supporting the ruling class, like the Divine Right of Kings. Elections are akin to a royal coronation, granting mystical authority on the rulers. But they don't change who's in power in any meaningful sense. And even if "democracy" worked, that would just mean tyranny of the majority. Guns kill people, so why should a small gang monopolize them?

  • Your questions are valid-- but can be answered very easily by beginning an honest and diligent study of world history and especially western civilization. Guns kill people, yes. But there are people behind those guns-- people kill people. If your government houses the only people armed, you have just left your last bastion of freedom in their hands. Government has a lot of good people working for us-- and a lot of bad people. People are fallible beings. Leaving the guns with them? Bad.

  • Elbow from the sky, Montana!

  • This is HUGE!!!

  • More States need to follow Montana, hooray for Montana

  • COWBOY TEA PARTY

    4th 0f July

    Wyoming State Capitol

    High noon....

    CowboyTeaParty(dot)com

  • haha, liberals are crying as they see this passed. Why they hate guns so much ill never know. But hopefully this will test the relationship with the states and the dicatorship, erhh, i mean goverment. And once 4-5 states start doing it and the gov. trys to step in with its socialist hands the states will be up in arms (literally) Maybe we can teach the libs once and for all, DONT SCREW WITH OUR REPUBLIC! Socialism doesnt work, and neither does Gun control. look at europe (in general) get over it

  • Amen, as i'm clinging to my religion and my BOOMstick, I'm thanking God that there are still people who read the Constitution, let alone read it. They can take that Marxist suppository and put it in their own ass. Go conservatives

  • Liberals hate guns because they think that if they were banned people would all of a sudden be nice to each other everywhere, we'd all be hippies in love with each other and the earth. Also, they hate guns because liberals are too densely attached to their political agenda to see that blackmarkets will always spring up to provide for what political law won't "allow." They fail to see that law-abiding citizens are precisely those at risk in such an environment.

  • Thank the Founders for State Rights... Hats off to our friends in Montana!

  • @AlamedaCountyGOP Montana tips its hat to your as well

  • BTW Cathy0007 People called for the Head of Bush, there were many attempts to impeach the man. Where have you been? Is your memory so short that you forgot?

  • Cathy is a fricken dirtbag, liberal scum sucking, sickle and hammer waving, maggot infested, no-leg-shaving, non-deodorant-wearing, Obama and Stalin loving leftist.

  • This is SO great. Bleeding heart libs, start digging a hole to bury your heads in the sand.

  • How is it drastic? The founding documents give supreme rights to the states. The Fed was only intended to mediate disputes and provide national defense.

  • Hello the dude is screwing the country more in 4 months than Bush did in 8 years

  • So all these banks and auto companies collapsed in last 100 days? Before these 100 days everything was fine? Every bank and every auto company was ok before he took preseidency?

  • I'm not saying that at all. I think he should've let those businesses fail. Instead of taking money from my grandkids, and bailing out businesses that don't serve my interests at all. We have shares in all these banks and auto companies, but how does that benefit us as American people. He is spending out of control, and it's ruining our way of life, our country, and our sovereinty. Why do you think states are considering leaving the union, which is totally constitutional. I'm just saying LOOK

  • I'll agree with you that some of those businesses should have been let go but others, such as the auto industry, desperately needed saving. Because if once they are gone then this country will never have another auto industry ever again. Once GM, Chrysler and Ford go out of business then all their production will be taken over by China and India. This country is going downhill because it got rid of its manufacturing industries. Wall Street on the other hand doesn't need saving.

  • That is the most fricken dum ast reply I have ever read. If GM, Chrysler and Ford go out of business then their factories and assets will be bought out by investors and companies that want to expand into the auto industry... get a fricken clue and start living in reality.

  • Yes and those investers and companies wouldn't be US and then that would be the end of any kind of manufacturing industry in this country.

  • Ok so maybe they weren't in great shape but why give them hundreds of billions just to let them fail 100 days later? You're ok with that?

  • Thats why they were asked to provide a solid plan for the future. And they were merely given a fraction of what was paid to the banks and Wall street. I don't think banks and Wall street should have been given that kind of money.

  • Obama has the most pro-Wallstreet cabinet surrounding him and advising him than any other president in history. I don't know why it's not talked about in the media-- but there you are. Research it yourself. Obama sold his soul before he took office.

  • "....and nobody in the media covers it". He thinks that media should cover his stupid, baseless fantasies? He is crazier than Michael Savage.

  • You're completely missing the significance of this legislation. The interstate commerce clause in the Constitution has been used by the Feds to regulate almost everything they regulate now. If the Fed courts uphold this law, and I think they'll have to given the 10th Amendment, then States will individually be able to exempt nearly everything the Feds regulate from the Fed regulations - think anything bought and sold, cannibis, environmental regs, school standards, etc.

  • Cathy,

You are clueless. You have no idea where we are headed. We is those of us in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and several other states.

Stay dumb, you are good at it.

  • @cathy0007 how is this baseless? you dont think the great state of Montana has the right to do this? I live in Mt and we have every right to do this.
