  • they seem competitive

  • When I see them together I'm getting afraid of the future...

We will never again have such lovable, charismatic and dedicated action stars like those two. They're immortal legends already and I love them both!

  • In comparing these actors, I see their works as an evolution rather than competing them. The Shaw Bros. came first and made films with fight scenes that were theatrical and dancelike with characters that were larger than life. Golden Harvest and Bruce Lee came along and emphasized realistic scenes featuring common men with power built from real training. Then Jackie Chan, Jet Li and the Cantonese filmmakers combined those two styles into a fluid comedic form that appeals to modern audiences.

  • both are great... love them both!!

  • Hey people you know Jet Li is a buddist warrior right?but yeah JACKIE CHAN RULES

  • this is awesomeee they're like brother.......

  • Jet Li is my favorite actor. He should do another movie with Jackie Chan again. If I was in the movie, I probaly fight the jade warload with no problem even though he is tough.

  • 0:34 "sorry *laffs*

  • no where near as fast as BRUCE LEE!!!

  • @Hardc0reGamer92 - these guys are a lot older than bruce lee was.

  • I usually don't go for this kind of movie but I liked it bc there was enough non-cgi flying stuff mixed in to enjoy seeing Chan & Li do their thing. Plus the story wasn't bad, except for the usual white lame kid being the hero & star even though it should have been a Chinese kid with some actual skills & acting talent. The white kid was dead weight.

  • i like this movie though some ppl dont like it, maybe because theres more drama than action. THough jet li got more action scenes the jackie since he also plays the monkey king. ^^

  • sweet how they make the sounds for timing....

  • u should see these guys go at it at super speed....this aint shit compared to how fast they can move

  • I love them both, 2 masters, It's awesome even just a raw scene

  • @Goodcapcay watch ur tongue kid, if u like flying and lame CG movies go find some yourself, I have no time to entertain u

  • Jackie Chan is the best, then jet li second

  • this movie sucks...lol

  • @Yvesyew go suck a cow dick bitch

  • The movie was really lame, I am so sorry to say. Too much flying and CGs

  • cant believe jackie got beat so bad

  • Hes getting old

  • @Narutofan9663 Yeah he just turned 47! I think he looks older with his hair super short like in this movie lol

  • they soo cutee

  • awesome martial artists together? how many day until perfection?

  • jackie gettin his ass kicked lol

  • jackie wins

  • jaky chan looks like Lei of tekken

  • No no, Lei from Tekken looks (and is modeled after) Jackie.

  • thats who they based him off of. So it makes sense.

  • ofcourse lei's character based on jackie chan

  • Lei is based off Chan; I love Namco :)

  • cause Lei was based off of Jackie.

  • @raiotinfamigold man that lei guys is inspired by jackie chan.

also marchal law as bruce lee ;)

  • @raiotinfamigold The creator of Tekken decided to make A character to be like Jackie Chan. So they eneded up making Lei. :] Awesome huh?

  • @raiotinfamigold i always thought the same way!! cuz he did the drunken master technique in tekken as well, if they made a movie, at least we have a character who fits perfectly

  • @raiotinfamigold its bcus lei was made up from jackie chans police story flicks :),

  • @raiotinfamigold yea, in tekken, lei resembles jackie chan whereas law resembles bruce lee.

  • its the point lol like how martial law is suppose to be bruce lee lol almost all fighting games there is someone there fighting like bruce lee

  • @raiotinfamigold are you sure its not Lei who looks like Jackie?

  • @raiotinfamigold Lei was made for Jackie Chan so it makes sense. He's supposed to be the super cop.

  • @raiotinfamigold lei was actually supposed to look like jackie

  • @raiotinfamigold the best tekken for me is Tekken 3 where Lei Wulong really looks like a Jackie Chan the drunken master!!!!

  • @raiotinfamigold That cuz Lei from Tekken is Jackie

  • li siu long was the best and if he was still alive he will still be the best

  • Happy 46th birthday Jet! Love you!

    You're the greatest!

  • hey i have made a hottish Jet Li video too....with bon jovi song....if you want to see it then type my name action11heroine and you can see....its really good. it got 5 stars as well....

  • Thats werry impressiv but dont you think that jackie chan and jet li can do that to?

  • Jackie Chan and Jet Li are the best

  • This 2 guys are as good as Bruce Lee and just as fast and have the right timing and everyting if not even better.Bruce introduced kung fu to the world thats why hes a legend but he only knew basic stuff, this to knows everything.

  • Bruce Lee only knew basic stuff? Bullshit, bro. Bruce Lee created his own martial arts known as Jeet Kun Do, The Way of The Intercepting Fist.

  • and what else do you know about him

  • More than you.

  • i am not claiming to be an expert.

    but if you say so...

    why not

  • True!

I study Jeet Kune Do :)

  • @VitoCorleoneIsMyHero with teacher and stuff?

  • Yehh, I go to lessons and do 4 hours a week. Why?

  • Lee's striking speed from three feet with his hands down by his side reached five hundredths of a second.

Lee's combat movements were at times too fast to be captured on film at 24 frames per second, so many scenes were shot in 32frame/s to put Lee in slow motion. Normally martial arts films are sped up.

In a speed demonstration, Lee could snatch a dime off a person's open palm before they could close it, and leave a penny behind.

  • true!

  • bruce knew more about fighting than most martial artists. he did the 'basic stuff' like you say because hes a fighter and focused on realism rather than traditional arts such as kung fu, karate etc.

  • yup, true

  • @SAISENSEI88 wat would u know abt it ?

  • @SAISENSEI88 how are traditional arts not based on realism?

  • @SAISENSEI88 how are traditional arts not based on realism?

  • @SAISENSEI88

I agree with that, but bruce is on another level of spirit and fighting dont u think?

I dun like to compare them to bruce ;p

Bruce Lee will be known as the best Director and best Martial Artist.

  • WTF?

    Basic stuff?

Are we talking about the same Bruce Lee?!

Woah, you obviously know jack shit about Bruce Lee.

  • "You slow down", "no you slow down". They both showed off to impress the other one and were too fast for the camaras. Jet got the same message from the director in Lethal Weapon 4.

    They're so great together.

Jackie funny as always, and Jet adorable - as always *sigh*

  • two great legends there not as good as bruce lee but they are still legends

  • they both have to be slow in a sense so they both know what they are doing, that is why they are both making noises when their fighting. The 2 of them plan ahead the fighting so they know what move they have to make before and after attacks! most of the time it is slow then the actors speed it up after the director approves it anyway.

  • i was super exicted when i heard that both Jackis Chan && Jet Li would be in this movie.........for me they r 2 legends And no one can beat them this is ONE of my favorite movies i dont get tired of watching it!! :D

  • 2 legends right there

  • an awesome movie!

  • i just die for jet li....mwaaaaa

  • go in then wat u waiting 4?

  • come on... jackie is aging and jet is in his 40s already so don't blame on them just because they're slow... besides, did you even see the kiss of the dragon? it was requested by many fans to show more realistic fight scenes. the movie is famous for not using cgi and wirework :) (only in 1 scene). and ask jackie how many times he did break his bones in such movies?!!!

  • lol it looks so slow in real life and bruce lee is just as fast in real life as in the movies. no wonder bruce lee is such a legend

  • Actually, they had to slow down the motion to able to see Bruce Lee's punchs and kicks.

  • ok. NOW THATS FAST? but how do they do it and make it seem real speed with all the people jumping?!?!?!

  • dragoonzerg watch the jackie chan interview the first take they did was perfect but it was too fast and the directors asked them to slow it down.

  • can u see it?

  • tony jaa? Jackie Chan? Jet Li? screw em all! CHUCK NORRIS IS THE SHHIT! naw juss playin! haha! those 3 are freaken awesome...

  • lol...CHUNK NORRIS SUCKS DICK..lol

  • i like jackie and jet the samee there both awesome!

  • Eh Jet! arrete d'etre aussi sexy qd tu souris!

  • LOVE JET LI!!

  • bruce lee can probe take both of them on lol

  • Or maybe not..

  • if he was still alive yes he would of course because he knows 5 or 6 different martial arts he mix dem 2 create jeet kune do n he will also kick tony jaa's ass n muhamad ali's ass, anybodys ass if only no weapon is aloud, coz i get tired of poeple sayin dat muhamad ali will kick bruce lee's ass n bruce lee is much faster than jet or jackie but jet is stillmy fav martial artist

  • i think tony jaa should team up with jackie chan cuz he is a very go good fighter

  • didnt they bump into each other on the protector? .... u know when hes in the air port.

  • jet will kick tony jaa's ass they are both strong, jaa can fly high but jet is faster

  • robin shou is a good actor im surprised he isnt in upcoming films

  • i think he's playing a Gen in the upcoming Street Fighter movie: Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li

  • k cheers timeguy21

  • i also found out that he will be in a film called death race its coming out on the 26th september this year.

  • robin shou i mean

  • hah jet li was a little to hard on jackie heeh...

  • Agreed.

Tony Jaa is a Beast for all of his work. Stunts, bringing a fresh idea to the big screen, but doesn't have that Charisma like Jet or Jackie.

I'm still a fan of Tony, though.

  • Ah Yes The Fight In The Temple Is My Favorite!

  • man how long itz been dat i wanted diz 2 happen

  • i swear i wanted the same.

  • woulda been better, jackie chan's getting old

  • aah 2 legends goin at it.. wish they did this 10 years ago.

  • damn i cant stop imagine how would be a movie with jet li, Jackie Chan, Bruce lee and Tony Jaa Holy Shit :D

it would be too damn extreme super turbo ultra high kick ass movie :P

  • isnt bruce lee dead? lol

  • LOOOOL

im a very big fan of Bruce lee and i know that

he has passed away, thats why i said " i cant stop IMAGINE "

  • im a fan of all of em...but idk who tony jaa is...lol

  • he is new in the cinemas word but he is very good, type at youtube tony jaa and you can see about him, all the tricks in his movies are without any helping wires.

check his movies at youtube, type Ong bak

  • He just lack charisma of an actor who would last in the business. I would rate Yuen Biao over Tony Jaa in term of acrobatic and fighting skill but dueb to lack of cinematic appeal he was left behind by Jackie Chan.

  • Tony jaa is good at acribatsbut he aint shit :P coz he aint thjat famous

  • maybe one day tony jaa go hollywood movies but tony jaa need speak english. if he can english speak then go hollywood movies will awesome. have you heard tonu jaa had new movies called ong bak 2.

  • i seen it n rocket warrior

  • his fighting technique is Muai thai, im a fan of tony jaa, damn if you like those movies you should really see his movies Ong Bak and protector.

  • hi, i know Tony Jaa is great but i feel he still isn't in the same level of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan or Jet Li. He'll be there if he keeps doing great movies but not just yet.

  • well everybody becomes respectfull after of many years on the showbiz,

tony jaa's advance is his extreme tricks if you saw his movies you can see that he has something to show of too.

btw tony jaa's idols are bruce lee and jackie chan :D

  • don't forget about jet li

  • What Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li have in common is charismatic screen presence which unfortunately Tony Jaa lacks. Don't get me wrong, Tony dropped my jaw the first time i watched Ong Bak, it's really a very good martial arts movie.

  • Tony lacks what?

  • Apparently to mjdbest he lacks charasmatic screen presence, But he does some of the most insane stunts ever though, hes ace!

  • yah man all of them are freakin amazing..i mean wow..everyone knows them..but have u heard about donnie yen??..omg that guy is a freakin fighting mahcine..pretty sure uve heard about him..damn..damn..damn..i like all of them..but i would say out of them all..donnie yen fights the best..he is a fighting machine man..thats all i gotta say

  • yea i know donnie yen, he costars with jet li at once upon a time in china, he is good i agree but in my oppinion not better than bruce jackie n tony :P

  • Donnie Yen is a bad man. He was also in Hero with with Li. Hes huge in Asia, just hasnt made as much of a global name for himself as Li.

Jaa will proberbly be the next big star, because hes fresh and he's using a fresh style and visuals.

  • no i think cung lewill be the nxt big star

  • no i think i will be the next big star

  • yer ok i am the next big star

  • he was shot right? im a fan of all 3

  • when he said sorry to jackie it was cute no homo he sounded so cool

  • This movie can be summed up in a simple math equation:

(Jet Li + Jackie Chan) x same movie = fuckin BADASS!!!!!!

srsly, go see it if u haven't, you will not be disappointed.

all I can say is, it's about damn time those 2 made a movie together!!

  • jet's speakin not very clear. he always makes ME laugh dhey way he talks!

  • when he speaks in chinese, you will have a hard time understanding him as well. not the accent, but the things he said. he talks about really deep meaningful stuffs

  • they should a interview with Jet Li and Jacky Chan in mandarin. I would understand them a lot better and they can express themselves more.

  • typo* make

  • Your sooo right. Then show the subtitles. cause it seemes like jet li could never express what he is actually saying in english.

  • so wierd to see behind the scenes when you see the whole crew standing around and lighting which is what really went down

  • LOL 1337 VIEWS GHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • I agree with both of you. an awesome movie!

  • I LOVE THE MOVIE!!!! the BEST EVER IVE SEEN!!!! XD

  • I went to see it last night, and I must say, that was one of the best nights of my life.
