It's funny they give out the MVP award before the playoffs because 2 of those years he killed his team with interceptions. But everyone thinks he's a good QB because he puts up these amazing numbers in games against shitty teams like the Bears Lions Bucs and Vikings for 18 years. Only record that matters is wins and losses and he lost more playoff games than he won. What a trash QB, I don't know why ESPN loves him so much.

@multicoloredwiz Dude, when you pass as many passes as Brett Favre does, you are bound to throw interceptions, I mean who do you know passes near 40 times a game, and doesn't throw an interception, Drew Bledsoe threw interceptions, but passe nearly as Favre, so does Peyton Manning, and they are all great QBs. When I say killed his team with interceptions I mean literally KILLED HIS TEAM. As in, his interception sealed his team's fate for the year. He is responsible for this on his last 3 playoff teams (and was similarly deadly to about 3 or 4 before then). Basically, he's just an all time great playoff choker, but at least he got that one in 1996 so people think he is a good playoff QB. He hasn't been his entire career, though.

Favre really SHOULD'VE won Superbowl 32 and did do well enough to win, but that Packer defense allowed Davis to run all over their heavy winded asses. What a shame.

similar, but very different sports. the hits delivered in American football are much more vicious, due to the fact that they're wearing pad, and aren't prevented from going for the legs or going high. Rugby tackles emphasize form and wrapping up.
