@eatsbabiesalot According to Wikipedia... Oichi was the younger sister of Oda Nobunaga. Oichi was equally renowned for her beauty and her resolve. She was descended from the Taira and Fujiwara clans. She wound up being the grandmother of a Shogun and the great-grandmother of an Empress. There doesn't seem to be any information on her death, but I only skimmed the page.

And women didn't generally commit Sepuku (suicide to redeem one's self). Most of the time, if a noble woman lost her husband, if she were still young enough, she'd just marry again.

Oichi was married twice. her first marrage failed because brother made her husband divorce her so she could marry Azai Nagamasa  and spy on him, but she ended up falling in love with him. Once Azai died, Nobunaga sent Oichi to go back to her first husband, who's name was Shibata Katsuie. After nobunaga died Shibata and Toyotomi Hideyoshi went to war over who would take nobunagas place. oichis husband was defeated so him and oichi committed suicide by burning themselfs alive

Supposedly dead, but everyone is supposedly dead once or twice in this series. Last season Ieyasu was still a child, so he might make an appreance on the later eps or the next season (if they make one) as an adult. Mitsunari as far as I know has not been shown.
