@conkerzzz Did you know that all the instrumental sounds of the music are stored on the n64 rom as tiny wav samples at 8-11kHz, to conserve space? The game's code tells the N64 how to play them back, at what pitch, panning, volume, etc.
Here is a hint for newcomers and for people who don't know this. When Trent attempts to shoot the president, run up to him and disarm him. You should be able to get his gun along with 7 bone shattering bullets. This works foe the Xbox arcade version also. I hope this helps! Have fun!
I done loads of attempts to Get The "Trent's Magnum" Cheat, The President's Running Speed Makes Objective 3 A Bitch to Finish without going over the Time Limit For The Cheat.
I seem to remember I got the Trent's Magnum cheat by finishing the objectives in a different order than they're given, but I can't remember what that order was.
The music on 1.33 - 1.59 - can anyone tell me one bit of PDZ's music that has so much emotion that fits perfectly like this to a mission? Consider this music to the situation, although its a Sci fi game you and everyone else has crashed in a total empty wilderness, you are searching for survivors and trying to stop dataDynes conspiracey. The music has a good military aspect with the drums too. Rare sure have fallen now.
Agreed, I can't believe one of the guys that worked on PD64 soundtrack worked on Perfect Dark Zeros! Although PDZ had a couple of good "rock" sounding tracks, which only appealed to me as a rock fan, they really didnt fit the game or create any atmosphere like PD64s.
The solution to the copyright thing is a bit obvious to me, though I am not sure if there are any legal technicalities which would stem from this. Release it in both Wii and 360, and just let the profit goes to whatever console people buy it on. Like if you buy it on the Wii, Wii gets all the profits, same with 360 and their market place. Both companies stand to make a lot of money from this, so why not?
Notice how the X-part of the song is not played in the level itself. The same goes for dataDyne Investigation, it has an X-part of the song, but it's not presented in the levels. Strange.
Yeah I always noticed the X part never played, wonder why. Although to be honest, the normal version of Crash Site seems to do the job much better than the X version.
What an amazing Soundtrack! Brings back memories!

This and Chicago Stealth are the best 2 songs on this game. 1:32 to 2:00 is epic, like a last press forward in a military battle.

1. I didn't know where to go.
2. Those drons scared me to death X-D
