to anyone "fed up" with the "labels" etc. you OBVIOUSLY do not have a child with this disorder. Count your blessings. This is NOT a made up disorder. This is not just over active children or a result of bad parenting this. You all are being ignorant, unsympathetic and judgemental to people STRUGGLING with this everyday with a child.

I am fed up with the attempt to dignify and justify aberrant and antisocial behavior by calling it a disorder or a disease. When are we going to start assuming responsibility for our actions?
it is not about justifying actions. it is about explaining why things are the way they are. These people are not normal human beings and if we want to get rid of these type of people we better know what we are dealing with and how to treat them.
@kuruma937 first off no one is trying to justify the actons of a child wth CD! I have an 11 year old son with SEVERE CD. I didn't have custody of the child till a year or two ago. his mom begged me take him,as she couldn't handle him! Chris is often grounded and punished when he acts up. What you don't get it is he acts out even when being punished it is a vicious cycle! I do everything I can to help him and until you have a child like chris you will never understand
