Totaly agree with the topcomments. The story and character behind Illidan is such an masterpiece. There's nothing you need to change about him except the ending, the ending shouldn't have happened since his type of character makes the game so much more alive.

Ressurection of a character is more or less just BS, since they speculated around that regarding Illidan. However, The ending they made can't be undone unfortunatley :( They killed the Game.

I hated wow for that aswell, but essentially it's very much the same thing in the dungeons as far as I know, cuz the raids r "lead" by other story characters, which is the same as in wc3 where there's always hero characters present when someone is killed.

theres things i would predict, if anything arthas must be alive or come back because he was part demon as the lich king bound to Nerzul's soul, and Illidan survived the blade slicing him as well, as he too is part demon.

and about wow ruining the story i couldn't agree more because back to arthas, Nerzul CHOSE him as an ideal champion to then bind to so he may prosper in corperal form, then wow had arthas killed and replaced as you would a simple monarchy... wheres nerzul??

Illidan is no more dead than Arthas. The entire WoW storyline from BC is a sham and horrible joke on lore continuity. It simply doesn't count until it makes sense -without- game rules. For example, they never even solved the problem of fighting at the Dark Portal that slew 3-5 horde/alliance before dying, and many of them getting to the portal without reappearing on the other side.

The WC3 cutscenes you see here are pre-rendered, whilst in SC2, only 4 cutscenes were pre-rendered, the rest were created using in-game assets, hence it sort of doesnt look as good. But given how expensive it is to produce such cutscenes and since there are like over 20 cutscenes in SC2, it would be ridiculous to pre-render everyone. lol
