I think that this proves that Gaahl is better live than people tend to think. It's just shitty recordings that make him sound bad. If one were to go to the concerts, I'm sure he'd sound much better than he seems to in these videos. At least this one has better sound than the others.
that is true. people think that the reason why he sounds good in the studio is cos they use various studio trickery. but i think it's cos he's a good vocalist, but it's just a combination of shitty live set-ups and poor quality filming. he actually sounds good live in person, and on good quality videos with a good live-set ups, he sounds great as well.

What makes you think that? Nobody is going to replace Infernus.. King does all the music and Gaahl the vocal arrangements. Even during the last album Infernus was already inactive.. he only did 1 intro.. This is true. Gorgoroth are one of the few that aren't so easy to mock, because they take themselves very seriously, and it shows. They're not doing it just for fun. I think that self-expression comes through as more sincere than "Hey, we want to wear facepaint and be evil!" That's all just part of the experience and their extreme natures. That's what I think, anyway.
@Drogynn Yeah, Gaahl is still the man even though he doesn't do black metal anymore. And I know what you mean about giving Gorgoroth a serious attitude. The way he persents himself on stage, he seems like royalty. He's awesome. Pest is great too of course. Indeed I think I like him better than Gaahl as a vocalist. As a stage guy, I don't know. They're just so different. They're both great in their own way.
