ITG Tactics Theme released!

I use this at home on OpenITG. I love this theme but the only thing that bothers me is that, I normally use solo singles when I play on PC. But when you try to play like that with this theme the BPM display during gameplay is in the way and is over the arrows. So I was wondering, is there any way to offset that display? And if not, then what would I have to do to get rid of it entirely? I like having it there but it wont kill me if it isn't. Thanks.

Okay, so we got FFT on the machine, and it crashes if we try to save an edit on edit mode. Sux, cause I thought it would be cool to make an edit without transferring it onto the machine.

@123uptoheaven I believe most of the hard drive is in 'read-only' mode while the game is running. That problem has nothing to do with this theme.

@B1uEM4oM4o It was pretty time consuming, I had no previous experience with programing, graphic design, or theme making. I just had an idea for how I wanted it to look, and fucked around in SM until I got it to look that way. I went back again and again upgrading stuff to look better as I learned how to do more.

I'm trying to do fonts and change the judgment flairs, but whenever I do they are surrounded by a white block instead of being all nice and clean (if that makes sense). I notice all the judgment flairs are in the same graphic file; why is this, and where abouts does SM reference when finding the correct flair to display (sorry to spam up your vid description, i've just been stumped for a while on this. Amazing theme, again.

About the 2nd question... I just wanna change my actual aspect ratio (16:9) to 4:3, that's why I want to return to the default theme.

If there is any way to change that (editing metrics.ini or something like that) I will be happy enough.

@mameraula That second answer was a joke. :P Really, the easiest way to do it is go to your ITG installation, go to your Data Folder and open up GamePrefs.ini (Notepad will do). Then change the Theme= line to Theme=default, save & close the file. Now when you run ITG the default theme will be running.

2- How can I return to the default theme? That option does not appear in the Options Mode!

3- Besides ALT+F4, there is another way to close the game?

@mameraula 1. No. Random would be sweet but you could always pick someone different each time as a workaround. 2: You don't. This theme is that awesome. :P 3. Nope, unless you wanna mod the theme to add Exit Game into the title screen.

OK. So, I tested the theme. All looks pretty amazing, the codes work fine and the mods too.

But there's something that bothers me (I don't know if you have already answered this), sometimes when I finish playing a song, besides the score panel -where the numbers of F's, E's and G's are shown- there's iron armor, sometimes a bronze armor, sometimes one of them and a sword

I just wanted to know if those actually mean something, like the medals from the original ITG theme or something like that

@ReikBrawl you get pieces of armor as your combo award, and weapons for FC, FEC, flag, etc.

In the metrics.ini I had to change SpeedDefault= to SpeedDefault=mod,1x because the CMods looked like they were going at 1.5x their normal rate (so something like C600 was going like C900). Might want to change that.

I added on a theme switcher to this and will put it on our machine, and I'll see how well it works in an arcade setting. Sick ass theme though.

Awesome theme, really enjoying it. But of course, I've found some glitches.

-If you go into a song without hitting enter twice to go into options it will crash.

-If you use the code to get to the class info screen it takes away your credit while the volume/bg screen does not.

@Sigatrev Confirmed crash is fixed. Hmm, I guess there really isn't a way to keep your credit being that the class screen is a sort of a mode select.

@daemonatheart Yeah, that part is wierd. It doesn't take the credit when you enter the screen, its when you exit the screen by choosing an options. When I tested before I just saw that it didn't use a credit going to the screen and then hit escape. I'll try to figure something out, possibly making exit go to normal gameplay mode.
