Shannon Sharped missed almost 3 quarters and Davis really wasn't a huge factor in this game. Atlanta beat themselves, and John Elway took advantage of that.

@Buffaloramus To began with. Anderson missed in the 4th quarter not OT. Also stop blaming Anderson when the whole team made mistakes. Like Moss' several dropped go ahead TD's, Griifith's dropped INT after Andersons miss, Cunninghams fumble inside the Atlanta 10. Also, bad coaching decisions like sending the game to OT with 37 seconds left, and greedy play calling, which resulted in Cunninghams fumble.

@Buffaloramus Get it right Anderson missed it late in the fourth. The Vikings were 15-1 because of thier high powered offense. But they had a poor run defense, vulnerable pass defense, and a favorable schedule. Anderson did choke, but so did the whole team.

Man elway could really sling it, this was the end of his career yet you see the ball on a rope for 55 yards. No one i've ever seen threw the deep ball like elway.

@metathus I'm from Georgia, and a Falcons fan, yet I have to agree with you. I think the Vikings were better that year. I'm glad my team finally made it to the Super Bowl, but I think the Vikings would've fought them harder. Gary Andersen missed his only field goal all year long when it counted. As happy as I was for my home team, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the guy. He must've felt the same way Scott Norwood felt.
