every weekend when I have a day off I sit back and watch a anime on adult swim like that new show that'd getting really popular with me its called durarara. hah there is a black Guy from Russia and it just puts me in the scene to where. I'm like yeah, I can see myself working and giving people advice. but I'm not a book so there will always be a unpredictability about me. I don't tell people what they want to hear, but what they need to hear, I am very accostum to Japan's polite behavior.

hah good video, I have plans to stop by Tokyo check out The scenery maybe meet a few people, I always depicted that I'd be stared at since I'm African American, I mean everyone gets stared at, just best not to take it so seriously. I'm like semi fluent in Japanese also,got into it in high-school don't want to drop. hah, what's weird Is the Japan vs China,I heard bout it but didn't know it was that serious, America and Koreans are near that point where there is a distrust between them.

actually it is more like discrimination (you are not japanese thing) rather than racism.more often the reason of that is shyness,not used to it, and don't speak any language besides nihonggo.but if the gaijin speaks japanese language an is funny..you'll be surprised how friendly and wacky/funny japanese ppl can be.i know you know it by now.

Well Im black, but I love the japanese culture and it is a dream to become fluent in japanese. I hope it isn't as bad as some people say it is because that would be very disappointing to visit a country where no one likes you.

Well before you come, make sure you speak Japanese well.

And prepare to be stopped by cops often. I carry my American passport with me at all times even tho I have an alien card. If your white, you'll hardly get stopped, if your black, you will get stopped and stopped often. They won't go Rodney King on you but it does get annoying.

i do not think Japanese hate all Black people. Some of them act a little foolish around Blacks, but i agree with some of the things he said in this video. But at the same time, Australians (not only Americans) also are a little cocky and go around acting like they "own the place" too.

from what i know a lot of Japanese are descendents from Brazilians, and there are a fair amount of Brazilians over there..so you should fit in no problem ^^

killers123 too, Im mexican, dont know very well about Japan since I was there only for a few hrs, but I spent nearly a year in SE asia, mostly thailand, they tended to get intrigued by my appearance, many believed I was half asian and half white, which is sort of accurate if you are a mestizo latin, some hispanics like me have the "pulled eyes" too, but latin looks are not homogenous, however I can say I never faced discrimination, quite the opposite actually sometimes I felt like a pop star

Umm that's what I thought too, one of my friend went to Japan and she's of african american descent and she was stared at a lot indeed. Compared to another friend of mine who caucasian and said he'd be a rock star there (Ken Hirai he told me lol).

There's, sadly, a lot of racism between Koreans and Japanese. Mainly on the Korean side though, i believe. I know my last semester Korean teacher hated the Japanese. Anyways, good vid.
