We were the first Regt of the line to deploy as a Regt so no arguements there from a Viking. Enjoyed taking the fight to the TB but the war has changed as we knew it would.

Yea you have to hand it to the infantry for taking the fight to the taliban, but every soldier serving out in afghan is risking their lives due to the tactics the taliban use with IED' etc.
and you cant forget, the infantry wouldt be able to move forward with out the support elements

Everyone in the army who is there doing their bit for our country, every job in the army is important. Every job should be respected.
