I take it you're not really plugged into the blues scene, are you? Google "Delbert McClinton" or look him up on Wikipedia...or better yet, just go buy one of his CDs or download one from iTunes, and prepare to be amazed.
You might be surprised by McClinton's music. Try out "Lone Star Blues" or "Hammerhead Stew." I've got Deep Purple and Alan Jackson, Jimi Hendrix and Gretchen Wilson in my regular playlist, and Delbert fits right in there.
It was an outdoor concert where folks brought lawn chairs and blankets, and I wasn't close enough to the stage to shoot over those who needed more beer.
Thanks for posting all your great clips of this concert with Delbert, Leon Russell and Jonny Lang -- would have looooved to have seen that one. Your Delbert clips are right on -- Rob & Kevin and that delightful little funk between the verses of Right to Be Wrong.
I'm glad you enjoyed the clips. This was my first time to take a video camera to a concert, and I see a lot of things I could improve next time around. Although, unfortunately, I doubt that I'll ever get another chance to see those three at the same concert.

im more of a classic rock and country guy. I know both genres are mostly inspired by blues but I dont listen to it all that much.
