People, stay smart, and stay alive. If you're going snowboarding or camping, bring a backpack with basic mountaineering equipment like rope, knife, water, food. If they had rope, they could've tied it to the lift and simply climbed down. Ok, end of PSA.

But if they would've had a rope, they could have climbed down when they were still healthy and uninjured and before the wolves came out. Then they could've snowboarded down the hill at full speed. But, yes, wolves are tough customers. Their bite force is twice that of a pit bull or a german shepard. A pack of them could really F you up if you're already tired, frozen, and injured.

Ask any skier if they ski with a phone: Nine times out of ten, they will say 'no'.

a) a phone is usless on the mountain because often times there is no reception

b) falling enough times will trash your phone

Honestly i think the first guy was stupid for jumping with his knees locked, the second guy was stupid for sliding down on his butt on his his snowboard, instead of his feet. and the girl was lucky she didn't get eaten alive by the wolves like the other two did, and that she didn't get hit by the car when she crawled to the road. ;)
