That means we have to be careful with EVERY word we speak curse word or not. So when talking about other Christians why is there a need to curse? The way you use your words in such a manner is offensive and 9 times out of 10 you know its wrong. Watch your tounge around other Christians for the sake of not making your brother stumble.

Sad when you see people who dont understand how we feel as followers of Christ. We let them listen to their music and dont leave hateful comments on their youtube pages, yet we can't listen to music that glorifies God without them leaving hateful comments toward us. Just another example that Christians are still being persecuted. Well worth it in my opinion! I'd rather be hated on for being a follower of Christ than spend eternity in Hell!

@remorrs You don't get it. Its not about the vocabulary your right. But its the INTENT we use are words as the bible says. Our words are supposed to give grace. That means we have to be careful with EVERY word we speak curse word or not. So when talking about other Christians why is there a need to curse? I'm not certain of the details, but this debate seems to be in regard to cussing. I'm curious--and perhaps there's an obvious answer--, but why was Jesus never recorded to have cussed in Hebrew? It just seems like solid inductive reasoning to say we shouldn't cuss as Christians, based on the following inductive argument:
P1) As Christians, we ought to emulate Jesus's actions
P2) Based on the evidence (Bible), it is unlikely that Jesus cussed
C) Therefore, Christians should not cuss

@remorrs There is Hebrews 12:1 where racing (a sport) is used as a metaphor for how we should live. But I think your point is well taken. However, inference to the best explanation (abductive reasoning) suggests that we should, IN GENERAL, not cuss. The only reference to someone using a cuss word is Paul in Philippians 3:8, and it was not a relatively strong one (the word translated as "rubbish," "dung," or "garbage" was considered more offensive than "crap" but less offensive than "sh**").
