  • I did that for my preschoolers once and they loved it!

  • what an inspraration. i was inspired by this video. it really make me looking into my own life and i relised i needed to do something about it.

  • really smart idea I'm sure any kid would enjoy I really wanna try it out

  • We grew herbs and flowers at our preschool and the kids loved seeing them grow every day and week. It was a great learning experience and we enjoyed harvesting the fruits of our labor!

  • This is totally cool. I have always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher when I grow up. This is an awesome idea, do you have any idea's of degrees I should get? I really want to be a teacher, but I am having trouble knowing what to do. Any ideas?

  • "We use a ruler, Its so fun!"

  • Cute idea! My nephew is learning about how plants grow in his classroom right now. This will be a fun idea to tie classroom lectures at home. Thanks.

  • if this is not what you're into then you shouldn't even be watching it let alone throwing your immature comments at it...

she is obviously a teacher who cares about what she is teaching and her ideas here are good ones, if i have kid(s) of my own one day i would very much like them to have a teacher as good as her

  • Good video!

  • love how you are so creative in your approach to education and children. way to go!

  • tired of running out of cheese with your crackers? then watch my video, staytuners

  • AHH bulbs. I used to work at a store that sold thousands of them.

  • nice video

  • u could also doit with paper towel

thats what i did in school and we wet the paper towel everyday and when it was big enough we put it in a vase

  • Gosh people are so mean. It's great that you are showing kids new things. There are things in life besides sex and violence and the more kids know about these things, the better future we can look forward to. 5 Stars!

  • great video ;D

  • Terrific idea! I would be careful not to tell the kids that you start measuring the stem from the number one, but rather from the 0, or the start of the ruler, if zero is not printed on it. I mention this because of the National math test that second graders take where measurement is used. In California the test is called the STAR.

  • this is a great idea for kids

  • I thought this is a good example on how to help teachers be creative in the classroom

  • oh my god, stop it with the s...u...p...e...r ...s...l..o...w text in the middle of the video. It's so distracting! you can't even hear what you say when you are waiting for each letter.

  • Fun, educational activity! Congrats on being a featured video!
