It seems to me sometimes it is much easier to make my point known rather in the Arab world then to penetrate the American mind. I can understand why. You are living by the American ethical code. You don’t want to judge anybody based on their religious affiliation. But you need to understand that ISLAM IS NOT A RELIGION, ISLAM IS A VERY DANGEROUS POLITICAL IDEOLOGY.
Wafa Sultan speaks truly from her heart and shares with us her harsh experience with Islam. Her conclusion that Islam is a dangerous political ideology cannot be reasonably denied. Suffice reading the Qur’an and observing how this cruel ideology works out in the real world.
Contrary, Zakir Naik, is a shrewd deceiver of his audiences. He is well educated in Islamic scriptures and, according to the principle of taqiyya, lies his head off to bend the truth.
“Radicalised” Muslims are simply those who act upon Islamic “teachings” no matter how inappropriate for our modern world. Until they’ve caused enough fear, & while still a small minority in their particular geographical location, they’ll just appeal for sympathy & demand “rights”. As their numbers & confidence grow they’ll steadily become more violent, i.e. normalised as normal “radical” Muslims behaving just like all the 100s of millions of others in any Muslim-majority region of the world.
Most “Western” governments are desperately trying to understand what they might have accidentally done to somehow “radicalise” Muslims in their countries. They can’t find the answer because they are asking the wrong question! They might as well be asking what they have done, say, to “radicalise” Acrididae grasshopers into becoming locusts - the answer is nothing; it’s a natural process where one becomes the other when it is ready.
Wafa Sultan is obviously right when she says there’s no such thing as "radical”, "moderate” or “extreme" Islam etc. There’s just Islam in its various equally violent & backward sub-sects; each an ancient predatory cult of lying and killing. Just study its continuous and unvarying history (from the 7th Century to date) to observe its never-ending use of confrontation, violence and suppression of human dignity. Note the way it firmly rejects all forms of progress or other ways of life.
Glad you like my grasshopper to locust ≈ “moderate” to “radicalised” Muslims analogy (inspired by your Wafa Sultan clip). I hope it gets noticed & sets a few people thinking!
A while back I pointed out some similarities between Islam & a lazy old crocodile; both are ancient creatures from another time & world. Both are ruthlessly efficient & effective as predatory killing machines. Neither seems to have the slightest motivation to develop intelligence let alone to adapt or evolve in any way!
@evospecies - no, but it makes a nice change from being accused of "Racism" - let's expand the scope and talk about whole species & the animal kingdom itself ;)
