you did not install the psu correctly, you have not inverted it for down draw from the bottom vents and the define XL is fitted with a removable packplate you take off, screw to the psu and then incert in to the case
@backtoearth1983 The psu can run either way. And will actually get better airflow from inside the case if vented properly. But will be drawing on the warm air inside the case.But i agree...it should be mounted the other way.

any particular reason you installed the psu with the fan facing up instead of down? It has a vent for the fan on the bottom of the case doesn't it?

@georc16 It's quieter if you flip it over but it has a hatch facing upward for cooler running (so says the case manual). It can be mounted either way
