i have the same camera, it is excellent but when i upload it on youtube the size of the video is small

Hmmm, how are you editing your videos?? I use Sony Vegas 9.0 and convert it to MPG2 - 720p so its still HD but small enough to fit on youtube.

I have this camera but I have one problem, whenever I upload my video's to my computer and play it back it lags, and the sound cuts out every 2 seconds or something. I have tried playing it on different computers but they all react the same. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Hello mate, ive actually never had this problem... i does do this when i edit but thats only because my computer has 2GHZ and really needs 3 or more. One thing i would suggest is dont play the video straight off the camera, transfer them to your pc hard drive, then play. This should work.

I never play it straight off the camera, I always transfer it to my PC first. I also downloaded alot of codecs but it still has the same problem. I have 3 ghz so this should not be any problem. If I can't find a sollution I'm affraid its not a very good camera.

Ok now I'm gonna try downloading a editingprogram so I can convert it to a AVI or something, maybe that will work...

Im not to sure mate, it works fine with my pc and laptop. I convert it to MPG as it saves as AVCHD. It might be the SD card, but i doubt it... i have a 16GB Panasonic one. Works fine.

I downloaded PowerDVD and it seems to work good and smooth with that program for some reason, so I guess the problem is solved although I still don't understand why MPC and VLC have a problem with playing M2TS-files. But oh well...

Yes mate, it has a remote which does all the usual stuff, i dont think it can have mic plugged in though im afraid.

But overall, i love it :) low lighting is not the best but outside or in a well lit room its perfect, all my videos are filmed with this camera.

The only downside is the low lighting, thats it really, everything else is fine, i use Sony Vegas 9.0 now and its so good, such an easy camera to use. It has all the manual settings and 5.1 surround sound. I think its awesome to be honest.

Yeah its usually better than this, as i wanted it on youtube i had to convert it to 720p so its not FULL HD but when filming and watching back its perfect

No it does not im afraid, the only thing that i wasnt too happy about, but i would never use it much anyways.

Well i have an 8GB SD card which records just over an hour and a 16GB card which is just over two, but when you think about it Mini DV could only record 90mins on LP so just over two hours on a card for say £25 is pretty good.

Just wondering does this work with Windows Movie Maker.. i've hlways been unlucky geting the worst Codec cameras you can get... that means the only formats that does not exist outside Japan..

So MPEG,WMV,AVI would be great..

I actually tried it with Windows Movie Maker, it edited fine but when i tried rendering the footage to save it keep crashing or having errors so im not too sure it will mate.

It does work with proper editing suites and you could get a HD one for around £50

It does have manual settings indeed. Im not too good at using them so i just use Auto but yes it does mate

i edited it using Corel Video Studio X2 and i rendered it to 720p and its MPEG2 format.

well when you move the camera a warning sometimes comes up saying 'Camera panning too fast' but i turned it off, got annoying lol and well im in a band and ive filmed me playing guitar and my drummer and its fast moving and the quality is still perfect.

So i would say it would be great for what you want to do :)

Nice quality, colours look very natural. Did you have the settings on auto and what did you render the final output to before uploading?

Yeah it was on the iA auto setting its easy to use and comes out well and i rendered it to 720p using Corel Video Studio 12 it edits in 1920x1080 and the quality is better than this video, hope this helps

Yeah low light is not amazing, i went to the zoo recently and the videos came out perfect. When i brought it i asked about the low light quality and the guy said any camera would be the same, but its only bad indoors and when its pitch black. But everything else its awesome :)
