@KingOystar i address this in my epilogue: its not illegal if the government considers you unmarried and you don't claim your marriage to be recognized by government. what matters is if God recognizes the marriage, so if someone thinks i'm a fornicator, that's there choice, but i'm not going to allow someone else to define who i am.

Being Christ-like is a very vague statement unless you clearly specifiy exactly what that entails SPECIFICALLY. Jesus was a man, does that mean women should teach in the Churches and be males? I highly doubt that. Polygamy is not banned in the NT, and in fact the only way to know what a sin is to begin with is by the law - Romans 7:7; Romans 3:20. And the Law does not mention Polygamy as being a sin, to the contrary, God has laws setting how He wants it practiced.

@modernrocks I didnt see ur ?. As 2 the answer, Im in the process of repentance. Repentance isnt immediate, but u have 2b without sin 4 a certain length of time before you are saved. So, i'm in my process of gaining true repentance, but I have not yet chosen not to sin long enough to pass the time of testing; for i only recently come to the conclusions of how serious repentance is. Im currently choosing to not sin, but i'm not yet saved until i prove it by passing the trials of repentance.

@carlsonap16 Hi again carl. Where do you get the idea you must be without sin for a set or certain time to be saved? It isnt in the word of god is it?, It contradicts the bible. And most importantly if you say you are not saved then doesnt that mean you are going to hell if you died today by yopur own theology? I say you most likely are saved because as a born again(saved) christian i believe the bible when it says if you confess Yahushua before men Yahushua will confess you before the farther

@modernrocks The Shepherd of Hermas teaches as well as other books affirming this in the 66. Where does it contradict? Have u read the bible without the sinful traditions of men guiding ur interpretations? If u watched the whole video series,u would have seen Scripture of the 66 that prove sin makes u lose salvation.

If i died today, I would most certainly go 2 hell.

The problem with ur belief, among many other things, is it contradicts Scripture, take matthew chapter 7 4 starters.

Ok...have your say BUT the ideal is one man with one wife. The non-ideal is not always sinful and this is a debatable thing on some issues. You are at least half right!!! In the New Testament book of 1 Timothy, chapter 3, for the qualifications of elders and pastors we read one wife. Some think this means that a minister must be married, however, it is actually against an elder having more than one wife. One wife is about all any sane man can handle!!!!

@carlsonap16 It is true that Paul indicated remaining unmarried and celibacy is ideal but within marriage the ideal is one man with one women. This is why God made the first marriage this way: Adam with one Eve. Matthew 19:4-6 also points this way.

@DrStevenz Where does Scripture say that's why Adam and Eve were only one and one?  Matthew is used by the Messiah to condemn divorce, not to promote monogamy. The pharisees were saying its okay to divorce for no good reason, and they were effectively seperating what God had joined together. The condemnation is of separating being a sin. in polgyny, there is no separation, but the man and woman becoming one flesh principle from Genesis is maintained.

Matthew 19:4-6 4And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

From the beginning God intended it to be one man & one woman.

@NobodySpecial85 You don't understand, I read the Shepherd of Hermas as part of the Bible, so in the entire series, I discuss Shepherd of Hermas & the rest of the Bible. I also cover Matthew 19 near the end of the video series. i think part 8. Matthew 19 is about divorce, not polygyny. It hasnt been one man one woman from the beginning. Genesis teaches that the one & one woman when they are married become one flesh, but it never says a man is limited to only becoming one flesh with one woman.

@carlsonap16 I agree w/ you on Genesis... how they had more than one wife. However, Ecclesiastes and all of the letters of Paul show the wisdom of having only one wife. God told Solomon not to have more than one wife... and I believe Joshua as well, but I can't remember what passage of scripture that was in.

@NobodySpecial85 also, your views of the canon are very weak. where is your justificaiton/evidence for the 66 only being Scripture? You have no justificaiton, just your traditions you inherited. Or whatever church canon you are a part of, you inherited that, and simply accept it without any good reason. You need to have good reason for your beliefs, and not just tradition.

Now you're putting words in my mouth. Knock that off, you assume too much. Church? I AM the church!

You need to test all things to scripture (1Th 5:21). Where does polygamy have in the spiritual side of the marriage supper of the Lamb? Jesus Christ isn't going to have more than one wife.

@NobodySpecial85 A man choosing to marry only one woman does not mean it is wrong for a man to marry more than one woman. Yahushua has chosen to marry one woman only. If you want to be married to Yahushua, you have to become part of the one bride because He has chosen to have only one wife in this allegory. You could argue however, that every saved person will be a bride of Yahushua, and therefore, Yahushua will have MANY allegorical wives.

@NobodySpecial85 Not everything needs to be symbolic of Christ, but everything needs to be Christ-like behavior, as in do everything for love/righteousness. If you are a polygynist, you are able to love many people, and have a huge family that you train to follow God. What could be better than that, a huge family that all follows God?

@carlsonap16 If you want to be a polygamist and you believe it is not sin, you cannot have any form of leadership other than that of your household. (1Tim 3:2, 1Tim 3:12, Titus 1:6)

Every word is established by 2 or 3 witnesses (Mat 18:16, 2Co 13:1).

Make sure that if you ever marry more than one woman you take down every video of you teaching. The Greek word for bishop is 'diakonoi' which means 'servants'. And since we are to be servants to the people we teach, this should be our guidelines.

@NobodySpecial85 "husand of one wife" is not a justifiable translation. its more accurately "one woman man". What its saying is a man is 2 have strong moral integrity in that he respects the sanctity of marriage; hes against lust & fornication,& thus a one [with] woman man.

If ur correct about ur interpretation of the passages (most christians reject ur interpretation), then that means u better rip major books out of ur bible. u better toss out at least 9 books that r teachings of poly men.
