@126adamski you need to download "google sketchup." and open the model with that program. Program is free. I heard other people opening the 3D models in Sony Vagus

question: when i add the green to the sphere there is gray spots that look like shadows but I turned shadows off and they still appear, then when I put it in Final Cut the green doesn't go away on those spots. Tips?
@ionodge I have had that problem too from time to time randomly. I usually just end up using a different model. Perhaps uninstall sketchup and install a newer version? I heard about the "shadow bug," and that they fixed them. (for most situations anyways)

@dyl40011 My suggestion, if you keep the mouse arrow to the edges of the screen as you maneuver your object, it should be either not noticeable or easily cropped out. I would go with cropping it out. iMovie has some cropping out features for green screen. For Adobe After Effects and Final Cut, the mouse arrow is no problem if the mouse never eclipsed the object.

(I use screenflow for mac, it's free, but quality is mediocre) Then you export the video you made with your screen capture program. That exported video file is then imported into final cut express

In the end you will have three videos 1st of just a plane no propellers 2nd of the left propeller 3rd of the right propeller. It's my best guess. maybe there is a way. Doing movement is where this program goes beyond my knowledge
