  • Cooking with Alu Foil?

Many of the symptoms of aluminum toxicity mimic those of Alzheimers disease and osteoporosis...

Gastrointestinal problems, interference with the metabolism of calcium...

anemia, headaches, decreased liver and kidney function, memory loss, speech problems...

softening of the bones, and aching muscles can all be caused by aluminum toxicity.

Aluminum can also accumulate in the brain causing seizures and reduced mental alertness!

  • Thanks for the post.

I will bust out the stainless and glass then.

    Take care,

    -Pete

  • Hi Pete,

    You are welcome!

Stainless steel also posses a health hazard.

Its contains vanidium to prevent rust, potential toxicity issues there too!

That alone is a significant cause for concern.

I can actually taste the metalic ions in food after being prepared in Stainless. Can that be good?

  • Glass or natural ceramic clay is preferable, the food in my opinion tastes alot better too!

    Take care,

    -Thomas

  • Yeah I have pirex I need to get more.. Just a pain to clean! But better then eating metal. Thanks and enjoy!

    -Pete

  • Yeah sure is and well worth it! - Thanks and Enjoy!

  • Thanks for sharing!

May I point out that cooking in aluminum and handling it with bare skin is a potential health hazard.

  • Your right about Aluminum..

I didnt even think about it..

I will have to swtich that up.

    Thanks for the tip.

    Enjoy your weekend,

    -Pete

  • Hi Pete, Happy to help.

    Something to consider at least.

Makes you wonder why its sold especially for food preperation.

Aluminum posses a significant health risk!

    Enjoy & Thank you.

  • Pete! How are you? This looks great! Loved the spices you added... paprika goes great on chicken! 5 stars my friend!

  • Wow! Now THAT'S a dinner.

  • Thanks! Sure was ;o)~

  • The neck, gizzard, etc. garbage?

The cats have a bone to pick with you.

    Wasteful Ape!

By the way, Herr Doktor informs us that elevated aluminum levels are associated with Alzheimer's.

But then again, so is eating meat.

  • LOL YUK! Cats are great on the grill too.. lol teasing.

Your right about Alzheimers, I use salt for my deodorant and stay away from the fluorides too.

Didnt think of this being an issue.. I might have to look into that.

    Take care,

    -Pete

  • @mixcatcom:

    "salt for my deodorant "

I have to say, I've never heard about this. More info please.... :)

BTW thanks for the video. Looks delicious !

  • BS: Modern anti-perspirants use an alumina. Employing salts instead prevents odour by disrupting bacteria through osmotic dessication.

Mixcatcom: Martha Stewart is so scared, she has foresworn all aluminum cooking ware- reverting to stainless, lined copper, and cast iron instead.

    All Hail Empress Martha,

Frost Queen of the Frozen North!

  • Looks Great. I have to try this with my electric roaster. Oh, yea, don't forget to crumble it and throw the aluminum in the recycle bin!

  • There ya go.. ;o)~ Glad you enjoyed it.

    Take care,

    -Pete
