@Delta060594 Never mind. I read your channel page. You really have a great pick when comes to Miltiary Aircraft. My grand dad and Uncle were in the Air Force. It was them that got me intterested in the air force. I am taking german. I plan to take it through college. It is very helpful if you want to do chemical engineering and i like the language. My plan involved AFROTC. My parents tell me to keep my options open, and this was one of them. A-10 thunderbolt is my personal favorite.

@Delta060594 hehe it's no problem. And there's a 7 hour time difference from the US CST timezone, where my family lives in Oklahoma. And I live in Nordrhein-Westfalen, which is western Germany, in a village 15 minutes from the Dutch border. We have a lot of WWII history around us especially with the USAAF and RAF. They built Germany's largest nightfighter base nearby because the allied bombers flew through here on their way to Cologne and around Düsseldorf. It's my kinda spot. ;)

@StickedJJ Well both have virtually the same benefits. I guess it all depends on what you want to, as in how you want to spend your military career, because both are totally different atmospheres. The Air Force, however, has their own college that's free to all enlisted that's ranked very high in academics.

It's the opening theme song to "Band of Brothers," an HBO miniseries that my brothers introduced me to. Michael Kamen wrote the soundtrack and Steven Spielberg/Tom Hanks produced it for TV. Really good series; it's nice to own it for only $95 haha.

lol I loved the pictures of the USAF Academy at the end. I'm currently a freshman (4 degree/fourth class cadet) at the academy...I have to say, it's pretty tough here but will be totally worth it in 4 years. Very nice tribute.

I haven't declared a major yet...but I think I'm going to go into astronautical engineering. I want to be a pilot after graduating, get my master or PhD in astro, and eventually transfer over to NASA when I retire from the AF...but we'll see how that goes.

I'm also looking to get into the cockpit of the F-22. Since I'm only a cadet at USAFA (United States Air Force Academy) I don't have a career field like in the normal AF. However, after 4 years of training and academics, I'll be a first lieutenant and hopefully in pilot training.

You USAFA peeps sure got a hell a lot better of a chance at sitting in the Raptor cockpit than most do. Officers of merit always get first dibs. I would torture and kill a small child to get a position there, but I ran out of time for applying. :'(
