I dont get it, She Ra clearly is losing oxygen as she gets higher in the atmosphere. So she makes her sword into a helmet so she can breathe. However she does not suffer any effects of having no oxygen in outer space when she takes off the helmet.

Yep. That's because they were all done still at home in the good ol' USA! Filmation was the last domestic animation studio to create and produce all of its work in-house in southern california. Its where J. Michael Stracynzki and guys who worked later on Batman: The Animated series all got their start. Now all animation is shipped out to be worked on overseas. Not all of it returns home though. We should cultivate more studios here again. That'd rule!

OH MAN! I loved She-ra when I was little, and it still holds such a special place for me! I literally was she-ra, I had the full outfit! My family still tells the story of the Xmas I wanted the Crystal Castle, but it was like Tickle Me Elmo, so hard to get, and I asked if the Crystal Castle was in EVERY box (including small boxes!).
