@MrBostonBlue, I don't need understanding or a teacher. A child can figure that John was the messiah. This can be figured out with basic reading of footnotes and the oldest Gospels which is Mark and Luke. Jesus Christ was invented from Graeco Romans and Edomites.
@beholdtheageofold If you don't understand Jesus as being the Christ and that he was the Lord that John was preparing the way for then you won't understand his kingdom. This is the bible: Joh 1:25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?
Joh 1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; ......

Brother explain to me were these men standing there and christ was taken up physically if so it says that hes coming back in like manner and we cannot start to lean to our own understanding and try to create a whole nutherdoctrine stick to as it is wriitten and dont twist the scriptures to your understanding.
@StLouisIsrealites Naw we are not twisting the scriptures, A cloud received him "out their sight" he declared he was coming in the clouds, and that is how God came in the days of old,in the clouds, he left in the cloud and he will return in the clouds with power and great glory. hear the whole matter before you say scripture is being twisted, and read carefully what is written, & then we can see who's sticking to what is written.
