if your in 1.0,0 you have to set the repeaters to two=1 click. if you dont the pistons will move too fast and then they will go through you.

Look straight down and don't move while you ride. In multi-player servers you may have to increase the repeater delay to 2 or 3 because of the server lag. These piston elevators work much better in single player : /

Yep I got it sorted, One in every 3 repeaters is set at 2. Though I think the future elevators i make will be more lag resistant. The one where you stand in the middle with two pistons underneath you. Rquires sticky pistons unfortunately, but doesn't shuffle you left to right, and all the pistons are behind you so you can have a nice view as you go up.

Uhm, I tried to make this, and I seem to get stuck halfway in the elevator. As if the piston doesn't push me far enough. Does this only work in single player?

That doesn't work. In fact, the elevator only seems to work if I stand in a very specific spot, and even then it's hit and miss. I am playing multiplayer though.

the problem with this elevator is that you cant use it to move items or blocks. that and the fact that you are using a lot more redstone than is needed. cool vid tho
