  • ВЫСШИЙ КЛАСС, такова качества я не видел!!!

  • I'm VERY impressed, but I'd be even more impressed if someone created a model of perhaps a civilian aircraft that looks both new AND realistic, having as much detail as I see here. Yes, there are some outstandingly beautiful clean and shiny real aircraft out there, yet there are few if any examples of these in model form.

I'd LOVE to see someone's talent for detail in some other form besides "weathering" to make a model look realistic or would that be asking too much of the grime artists?

  • Brilliant! What was that hose going into the 2L bottle in the beginning? I know it was for your airbrush, but what exactly was it for?

  • Incredible model, really good work. Congrats.

  • I'm ten so this is amazing

  • excellent... one of the best models i've seen

  • did you mask and hand paint the decals, or use paper decals? i am trying to find someone to costume make me nose b-17 nose art decals for my diorama.

  • Опупеть-не переводимая игра слов!

  • jazz is 7 different people playing 7 different tunes.. badly

  • Wow! That is an amazing detailing job. Your skills with the paints made this aircraft look amazingly real let alone your hand made parts. That was great. K. Savoy

  • Best part of the video is the music "Kind of Blue" (08/59) - Miles Davis

In real life the F4U-1D Corsair is a huge plane; I saw one in Kansas Air Museum.

Thank you, during building of this "white 167" my dad was in correspondece with daughter of pilot Roger Hadrick, who flew on this aircraft and also he has lot of special magazines about Corsair

  • I guess you would call this person a "pro" modeler. Stunning work to the max. Maybe some day I will do about half this good. Beautiful model. Thanks for sharing.

  • WOW! A simply gorgeous model. Your father is very talented.

  • Most Impressive....

  • I believe this kit has one photo in Finescale modeller as well as a full build in another hobby magazine........Great job getting this excellent, inspiring model seen!

  • @milo26782 Thank you very much, you are right, it was published in Scale Aircraft magazine and Modelář magazine.

  • It almost looks like you could get in and start it up and fly it except for one issue... The ongoing maintainance! Very nice model indeed, the best I have seen on youtube!

  • There's building models, then there's replicating the real thing. This is quite simply sublime. Exquisite. Aspirational.

  • The painting is very very well done!

  • It's seeing work like this that makes me want to just give up. I look at my finished projects and It seems like I am no better than average to lousy. This is what I dream about but can never attain. Story of my life. This is building at it's very best. You are seriously talented with an eye for extreme detail and I am as sick with envy of your skills as a man can be without being turned inside out. If only I could do that. You have my respect, Sir. I'm going to subscribe.

  • @stig99914 Thank, you very much, I appreciate it. I only created this video...This model was made by my Dad...

  • @stig99914 Please feel free to sub to me.. that will boost your confidence, as my models are pretty basic and a blind 98 year old lady with her right arm tied to her back can do a better job.. Then again, the hobby is about having fun, not about trying to achieve the unachieveable.. some has the skill, some hasn't! I'm sure that YOU do... :)

  • @stig99914 DONT STOP!!!!

I tried putting in tonnes of detail when I first started building but got discouraged, then I shifted focus to the finish and overall impression. Once I could make a great looking kit from a few feet away I started adding more little bits of detail with each new kit and Everytime I get better. It takes A LOT of practice and the right tools are a must.......Just dont stop building.

  • @milo26782 I think I know what your getting at. It's a kind of shift of perspective. I think my biggest problem is not being shown one-to-one how to perform certain tasks. It's all very well buying the right equipment and reading the right mags but I am very much a Monkey see, Monkey do, sort. Plus my fear of failing can really shut me down. I'm now smarting from the loss of a kit I was halfway through because I put it in a silly place. But don't fret. Couldn't stop if I wanted to. Thanks!

  • Very nice detail work.

  • Thank you so much :)

  • DAMN!!!

Thats the finest Corsair model I have ever seen!!!

  • very nice!! great job!!!

  • Great build! I have a Corsair with the exact same markings and number as this one accept in 1/72 scale!
